Q: Is the door removeable without a huge hassle ?

Like the other comment, open the door 90 degrees, I used a floor jack & a couple of friends to remove it, I believe the door weighs approximately 275+lbs, so be very careful.

Q: What is the difference in the options/included humidifier options?

The humidifier is a rod that they install in the bottom of the safe that is supposed to keep the humidity in the safe low by creating heat. It has to be plugged in into the interior power outlet. I ordered the safe with this option, but after all I'm not very happy with it. The rod gets very, very hot. It's just a weird feeling to me to have a safe with valuables and have a very hot rod inside of it. What if something plastic or paper falls on it? I ended up not using this humidifier but use the one with the crystals that every few months when the crystals turn color you take it out and plug it in overnight (outside the safe) to recharge and it keeps the safe dry also. Much safer in my opinion. And I live in South Florida with high humidity. About the safe itself: I love it. Great quality.

Q: Does this safe come with a backup key?

All of our 22 gun and larger safes do not come with a back-up key. In order to match the security of this safe the key bypass would be too costly and raise the safe another $200 to $300 dollars. Instead of charging every customer this added amount we decided to use a more expensive and more reliable lock on these safes. Keith
