I did try few models and brands, this reef model is the best. I wish the have a similar design without the bottle opener, and cheaper.

I took a flyer at sizing using a pair of Havianas and the fit is near perfect. I have had too many pairs of Havianas that fail once the toe thong snaps or pulls thru, if you know what I mean. These are built for comfort and also no issues driving in them, even with a stick shift. They are durable and built to last but are by no means bulky and they also have a bottle opener in the sole too. I can’t see myself buying another pair of Havianas tbh.

Beware, quite true to size, but main strap is so tight in width, for small feet. Had to return.

I've been using Reef flip-flops for a few year; each would last 2 to 3 year until the sole gives in (I walk a lot in them). This one didn't last even a year - the sole is OK but straps are worn-out.

These are the best sandals I've ever owned. Comfortable but sturdy, made of what seems like high-quality materials and they fit/support my feet really well. Just grippy enough on the top to prevent slipping off the sandal and great traction on the soles. Haven't had the chance to use the bottle opener yet but it's solid and I'm sure it works. Not sure I'd recommend them for heavy-duty hiking, but they're fine for sightseeing, pools, beaches, walks, etc. The price might seem a little high for a pair of sandals/flip flops but these seem like they'll last as long as several pair of cheap ones would, and you should take good care of your feet! *If this review is unedited you can rest assured that I haven't had an issue with excessive wear and tear. I will update when/if something breaks.*

Fits nicely and feels amazing 10/10

Ich bin wirklich begeistert von den Reef Fanning Zehentrennern. Schon beim ersten Anziehen merkt man, dass hier Komfort, Optik und Funktion sehr gut zusammenpassen. Die Passform ist für mich perfekt, der Schuh sitzt angenehm am Fuß, scheuert nicht und fühlt sich auch nach längerem Tragen noch richtig bequem an. Optisch sind die Zehentrenner ebenfalls ein Volltreffer. Sie wirken sportlich, hochwertig und gleichzeitig lässig. Genau dieser Surfer Look, den man sich bei solchen Schuhen wünscht. Die Verarbeitung macht auf mich einen sehr guten Eindruck, nichts wirkt billig oder lieblos gemacht. Ein echtes Highlight ist natürlich der integrierte Flaschenöffner. Ich war ehrlich gesagt erst skeptisch, ob das nur ein Gimmick ist, aber er funktioniert tatsächlich super. Praktisch, witzig und irgendwie typisch Reef. In einigen Rezensionen wird geschrieben, dass der Schuh schwer sein soll. Das kann ich persönlich überhaupt nicht bestätigen. Objektiv empfinde ich die Zehentrenner nicht als störend schwer. Im Gegenteil, sie fühlen sich für mich genau richtig an und geben dadurch sogar ein gutes, stabiles Tragegefühl. Der Preis ist zwar etwas gehobener, aber meiner Meinung nach absolut gerechtfertigt. Komfort, Style, Verarbeitung und der funktionierende Flaschenöffner machen das Gesamtpaket einfach stark. Für mich sind die Schuhe der Hammer. Klare Kaufempfehlung und volle 5 Sterne.
