I made two coffee tables using these hinges. They are strong and make our coffee tables much more functional. The screws that came with the hinges were too long for the 1/2 inch cabinet plywood that I built my tables with but I was able to use my own shorter screws without a problem. It is much easier to mount the hinges during construction if you leave one side of your project open and then attach the last side of the table once the tabletop is mounted. I didn’t expect to use the lift top function as much as we do- it comes in handy for snacks and kids crafts and activities.

These hinges were perfect for my application. Easy to install and they still work flawlessly after using them more than a year. Solid design. A little stiff to open but I’d rather have it that way.

We used these to replace a broken mechanism on our lift top coffee table. These were the right size and much sturdier than the original mechanism. The hydraulics help with the lift up but it’s got a little too much resistance when we try to put the top down.

One of the hydraulic pistons is noticeably weaker than the other causing the table top to not close evenly. I assume this will greatly reduce the lifespan of the hinges. The troubleshooting options on the site did not apply to these hinges

Bonjour J'ai utilisé ces charnières pour modifier une table basse de salon. La mise en œuvre n'est pas compliqué, mais il réfléchir comment positionner les charnières. Les positions (basse et haute) du plateau sont stables, par contre pendant les manœuvres transitoires (montée et descente), il faut bien garder le plateau en alignement avec la table car ça a tendance à vriller. Je dois tenir le cadre de la table et produire un effort pour décoller le plateau de sa position de départ (haute ou basse). Pour info, le plateau pèse moins de 10 Kg. Sinon, le plateau déployé, c'est sympa si on veut grignoter devant la télé.

Charnière solide a bien fait la job faut un peu de patience pour y arriver mais le résultat en vaut la peine

Beyond the poor quality, the seller actually lied about the length of the brackets—the measurements are not what they claim, which makes planning your project impossible. ​The product arrived in terrible condition; the painted metal was heavily scratched and scuffed right out of the box. The screws weren't even secured—they were tossed into an open bag, leaving them loose all over the package. These are marketed as "Gas Hydraulic" hinges, but that is a total joke; the mechanism is low-quality and feels like it belongs in a Halloween prop rather than furniture. Additionally, the frames are not level, making them nearly impossible to install correctly. Do not waste your money.
