A really nice tribute to one of the most respected and effective Allied bomber escorts to serve in the European theater of WWII. I don't understand why the scale between the P-51 (1/100)and its most common adversary, the ME-109, (1/87) are not made to the same scale. Otherwise, the detail and paint scheme makes this model stand out in my display. I love the historical tribute to The Tuskegee Airmen, also know as The Redtails.

Item looks good with my husband's collection.

Excellent detail and great looking plane. Propeller doesn't spin and blades break easy after 1 time of falling. Have to balance it just right. Super glued blades back on with gorilla glue so looks ok but can tell. Would give 5 if blades weren't so flimsy.

Preassembled metal model of a P-51D Mustang fighter aircraft flown in WW II as a bomber escort over France and Germany and also in the Pacific Theatre. The model is very small but the detail is incredible. I gave this away to a Veteran in the Illinois Veterans Home Manteno Illinois where I volunteer who actually flew this aircraft during the Vietnam War (yes, they DID fly them during that war so don't believe everything you read on the Internet). He loved this model!! I have ordered the 50th Anniversary Mustang P-51D 1/32nd see through model with motorized landing gear and propeller by Monogram.

Colecciono esta línea de modelos por su detalle y porque son de metal en su mayor parte, muy recomendables aunque sus precios son muy variables que a veces superan lo aceptable más cuando cobran el envío por separado. Cuando no es así, creo que valen la pena en calidad/costo.

This P-51 Mustang is Well Built Alloy Construction, Good Paint and Artwork the Scale at 1:100 is a Little Small in Overall Size. Would be Better if 1:72 size Scale. Look Good as a Display Piece.

Excelente aviones. Me gustaron muchos los detalles en el P47 y el 109, lo único es que la propela del 109 no gira, la del p47 si.
