Canned Edible Smoked Rattlesnake

Taste was terrible. Mostly bones and very little meat.

I did not knowing what to expect....but be aware, you are picking through the bones to find meat. Snakes have lots of bones and these are very small. Everyone seemed to enjoy the flavor when they weren't picking bones out.

Don't waste your money on this product. The flavor is not the greatest and you cannot even get any of the meat really, because there are way too many little bones. It is not worth the time and effort to try to pull the bones out because there's literally more bones than there is meat. It probably would have been a lot better and a lot more worth the money if the company actually deboned it before they put the meat in the can, but I guess that's asking too much. I couldn't even eat it, which sucks, because I enjoy rattlesnake meat. 1 star, but only because I can't give it 0 stars.

Snake meat was very good, would prefer larger can and more snake.

First let me start by saying, before I purchased this canned rattlesnake I read the entire product description and was aware there would be some bones that would need to be removed. I did not expect that nearly 50% of the product would be bones. My can had over two inches of spinal column which accounted for a very large portion of the product. By the time I removed the bones, I had one... yes one tbsp of meat. The meat tasted delicious but for the price I paid for this, I expected a little more care as to what went into the can. I am very disappointed and would not recommend buying this product.

It's a small can with mostly bones and water. It has an overwhelming smell that makes you sick. Don't waste your money. If you want to eat rattlesnakes might as well go to the mountains or desert or forest near you and look for one kill it skin it gut it and cook it so at least you know you'll be eating some meat. If i could I'd give this zero stars
