Very nice
Silver stems, at a traditional 6degree angle, are tough to find. Thomson stuff is awesome, but maybe unnecessary depending on bike. I added this one to a touring bike with a crazy relaxed head tube angle. Flipped "negative" it gives a normally slow (ish) ride a more sporty feel. Ritchey makes nice stuff. Shipping was spot on, thanks.

Nice piece. Ritchey quality.
This is a nice stem that has a nice classic silver look. Easy to strip and polish if needed for more shine.

Bad design - thread strip danger
I will never buy anything Ritchey again. This is the second ritchey item I buy with major design flaws. After changing my mind about the stem on my new gravel bike, I swapped it back and tried putting the ritchey on my old road bike. This is when I ran into trouble. The part that holds the handle bars is designed with weird angles and is awkward to get the bars in. Plus the bolts go in at an angle and like all things ritchey this stemmis very light. Since itโs aluminum this translates as soft aluminum. Of course all this added up to stripped thread on the stem. I backed them out then forced the bolts back in correctly with the bar off (only way I could) I finally did it but now I have a stem that may fail. Great. Thanks again Ritchey.

Handlebars slipped during first ride. Stem cannot tighten down enough
The stem would not tighten down completely on the handlebars. The bars slipped during the first ride after installation. Not safe to use.
