i normally buy lots of these and use as an inspection mirror in industry for welding inspection purposes..the mirror comes very tight at its ball joint.....if used as from manufacturer, it will break off at the back, behind the plastic encasement where the joint slots into the mirror itself......each would last approx one month on everyday use. the telescopic also comes too tight....i normally lubricate the telescopic and balljoint, and loosens the joint as well......i have bought over 2 dozens and each one has broken....when it breaks, it is impossible to weld due to its thin structure, so thank goodness for epoxy.....sticks well and bonds perfectly.....no more breakin off after that.....secondly, black plastic casing with light, too fragile and tends to break as well if tried to open for battery replacement......needs to be extra careful........can be engineered a bit better.....will continue to buy though, cause other options not available
