I have three cats so the litter box is a busy place. This works well. Of course there is still some tracking but this product takes care of the majority of the mess. This mat is also a generous size. Also, the texture is soft so it seems to be easy on the paws.

So far this has been the best tracking mat for crystal litter I’ve found. It’s easy to clean and almost gets every granule. I’ve bought 3 of them over the last several years and will continue to use this brand for its longevity and quality.

These Mats are light, very durable. Lay down flat, stay in place. Idea weight, quiet. I put my cat’s litter box on them.

I've had other litter mats, and these are my favorite. They really trap litter when the kitties get in or out and scratch their litter about. Much nicer than using a smoother mat (where the litter isn't trapped) or a towel or newspaper. Every once in a while I roll it up, carry it outside carefully, and shake out the accumulated litter. Keeps my litterbox areas *much* tidier. Just got a second one for the second box after realizing how great the first one was. I am no longer using my Petlinks mats where litter globs up in all the little indentations and looks messy. These PetSafe mats have a much better design. You can't see the litter collecting in the little whorls. Too bad it took me eight years or so to figure this out and swap out the mats. Plus these PetSafe mats are cheaper! Win-win! Take my advice and give these a try.

This matt is just what your cat needs to keep the litter dust down. It is just the right thickness and adds touch of elegance to your cats litter box.

RAKE AND POOP ISSUES... After a cleaning/changing of the tray, we substantially reduced and almost stopped poop from sticking to the rake. Our trick was while the unit was standing up, we use Clorox wipes to clean off the rake, making sure the rake was DRY after wiping down, followed by taking PAM/or whatever type of Conola spray to the rake, making sure to follow along the spray area with a backer like a piece of papertowel to catch the excess spray so that it does not get all over the litter box. If there is a health issue with the spray, we have not experienced it, and our cats are happy and so are we..GOOD LUCK

Bought this and don't work like the reviews say. I used a small piece of carpet and it worked just as well if not better.

This little accessory is mandatory for your new automatic litter box in my opinion. The only major downside to my new litter box was that the cats were tracking the new litter outside of the box. This mat is so large that it gives the cats ample room to walk on it after leaving the box and it collects probably 95% of the excess litter that makes it outside the box. Of note, is that I also purchased the cover for my litter box that limits the cat's entrance/exit to only 1 direction. The mat is easy to clean, all I have to do is roll it up and dump it into the trash can. Cleaning can be a little tricky in the event that poop makes it onto the mat because it can get stuck into the fibers. I used a pressure washer on the mat to remedy this.

With multiple cats in the house, litter scattered across the floor is a constant battle, so I’ve tried quite a few mats over the years. This style works noticeably better than the smaller flat rubber or fabric ones. The mesh-y surface catches litter from their paws as they step out of the box instead of letting it scatter across the floor. The size is something I really liked about this one. Many mats in this category are either tiny and barely catch anything, or they’re huge and take up far too much floor space. This one sits nicely in the middle. It’s large enough to actually intercept litter as the cats step out, but still compact enough to fit in front of the litter box enclosure without dominating the whole area. I actually purchased two of these for the two smaller areas where the litterboxes are. One arrived listed as used but looked essentially brand new, just in different packaging. The other was completely new. Both were identical in quality and worked equally well. The mat stays in place, cleans easily, and makes a noticeable difference in reducing the trail of litter that usually follows my cats out of the box.

I wanted a smaller mat for my cat litter box as we keep it in a small space in the house. She really enjoys scratching at it for a few seconds when she gets out of the litter box to help get all of the litter off of her feet. It does what it is supposed to do, I definitely recommend it.

Finally found the perfect size but sadly didn't trap the litter that well.

Very happy with this purchase, the floor was always messy with grains when my cats came out of the litter box, this carpet is durable, my cat tried to scratch it and didn't even make a hole in it, the carpet doesn't slip stay's in place, very good product, I recommend it.
