This is a very good company .
Excellent, it worked without any hassles.Just treat it as a sim card for payg .I only want it as a back up to my other 3 mobile .I ignored the packaging àdvertising and just treated it as a normal 3 payg sim card without any of the data add ons. You can buy DATA add ons if you want to.I put a £10 credit on and works fine and 3 sent my new number very quickly before I put my credit on it.I will study all the imformation as regards what this or that does later, if I feel I need it.Very pleased with three as it was the only company I could find that offered basic call etc without any large restrictions ie data packs etc.You have to use it at least once every 6 months. No problem .

This is a standard Three PAYG SIM. Beware that the costs of calls, texts and data now higher than claimed in the description. About this item lists the rates as 10p a minute 10p a text and 5p per MB. This Three tariff is no longer available to new subscribers. As of 31st October 2025 the rates on Three's standard package are 35p per minute, 15 per text and 10p per MB. When you insert the SIM in a device such as a phone or tablet then you get a text from Three giving an assigned phone number. If you have an existing Three account you can add the number to your account or you can create a new account for this number. It costs a minimum of £10 to top up the SIM to use the number assigned. The rates on offer when topping up are the current standard rates. This SIM was purchased as an inexpensive way of connecting an internet of things device (a GPS tracker) that generates a small amount of data monthly (MBs rather than GBs) and sends the occasional text. Time will tell if PAYG is cheaper than signing up for a low cost monthly contract. As of October 2025, GiffGaff offer a SIM only monthly plan at £6/month unlimited calls and texts plus 2GB data per month.
