I have residual nerve pain from shingles that I had four years ago. I was hospitalized at that time as they were so extreme. The pain has been unbearable since then. I have used all sorts of lotions and creams that offered minimal comfort until I found this Shingles Treatment Cream. The first night I received it, I forgot to apply it. When the wracking pain awoke me, I got up, applied it, and slept the rest of the night with no pain!! It is like a miracle for me as I hadn't found any relief until this product. Update: I am now on my second jar (only now it is the 8 oz. jar) of Shingles Treatment Cream. It continues to give me much welcomed relief from this awful pain. Sometimes the pain hits me in the middle of the night and I just reach for my cream and get immediate relief, I hope none of you out there ever get the residual pain that I have. This has been going on since Jan. of 2013 and I have no hopes of it going away. 2nd Update: I now use Organic Shingles Relief Cream religiously. The pain is still terrible, but when I apply the cream, it goes away. My sweet 92 year old mother applies it to my back, where I can't reach it, after every shower. I even have a small jar in my hospital bag to have when I am in the hospital, as they don't have it. The last time I was in the hospital, I was so happy to have my shingles cream. When the burning and stabbing pain started, I was able to apply it and get relief. I don't get anything from DermaChange for these reviews. I pay full price, with no compensation or discount. Sept. 2017 Update: I was recently in the hospital for 8 days, which caused me to miss my applications of my Shingles Cream.. Oh, my, did I miss it!! My back and under my left breast screamed out in pain. My back felt as if it were on fire. When I got home and finally had it applied, it burned even worse for the first few minutes. The second time it was applied, it still hurt initially, but not nearly as badly. By the third application, it was a great relief. I guess it had gotten so dried out that it took several applications for it to take full affect. It did show me one thing, I never want to be without it again. It is truly a miracle in a jar. Please don't increase the price as I am retired and living on a fixed income, but I must purchase your product. I'm so pleased I found it!!

Oh my God, this cream is literally a miracle sent from the heavens above. My husband, unfortunately got shingles last week on July 20th ( we thought it was spider bites or something ) We really didn’t know what it was until we went to the hospital on July 24th …… and since he never had chickenpox when he was small he got diagnosed with shingles unfortunately. Of course they prescribed lidocaine and of course pain pills and antibiotics but he was in a tremendous amount of pain so I did my research. We used the lidocaine patches on July 24th and 25th ( until the cream came in on the 26th ) Thank God that I was able to find this cream from a third-party site and it referred me to this Amazon website and when I tell you guys, this has been a miracle in a bottle!!! We put it on once a day after his shower and it literally has been healing him every single day. It has been bringing them all to blisters and then helping them to pop and drying them up as well. Also, any blisters that he already previously had it literally has helped them pop and dried them up as well! And takes away alllll the pain!!!! Extremely mild mild pain , he can sleep walk and do regular things! Lol it’s amazing 🤗🤗🤗 The shipping was extremely fast and you get a lot of product in the 4 ounce bottle. I was afraid that it wasn’t gonna be enough, but the cream is super thick in the bottle it’s a really nice size, it’s plenty!!! We have a ton of it left and a little bit goes a long ways 🤗 we started using this this past Saturday ( July 26th ) And it’s been four days in the making and my husband doesn’t have any pain or anything like that. Please use this product if u have shingles!!!! If we didn’t have this product things would have been very bad for my husband since shingle can last 2-5 weeks !!! Purchased for my fiancee. She had developed shingles on the side of her neck and face. She began applying the cream at the point that the blisters began to develop. Blisters dried up and swelling reduced within 2 days, pain was greatly reduce. she continued use until redness was gone, about two weeks later. She also had shingles on the back of her head under her hair where she was unable to apply the cream. She still had the rash there 6 weeks later, so I have to think the cream was very effective. I gave only 4 stars because we weren't sure if the cream could be used at all stages of the rash, as this wasn't addressed on the container or the manufacturers web page. We sent an email to the manufacturer to ask about this but received no response. We were concerned because many products state that use should be discontinued when the blister break and scab over, so we weren't sure if she was suppose to continue using the product.

I recently had a horrific case of Shingles and the scaring and damage to my nerves after rash cleared is extensive on the entire right side of my upper torso front to back. The first 3 pictures were taken on December 20th of 2016 the last 3 were taken on 2/28/2017. You can see the remarkable difference and the rash itself is gone but the scaring is what is left. The resulting Post herpetic neuropathy has been excruciating and I was unable to even wear a soft shirt for over two months. Before finding this product, I had spent hundreds of dollars on both prescription and OTC pain relief medications and homeopathic topical pain relief creams and salves, including Percocet, Gabapentin, Baclofen, Lortabs 7.5, ibuprofen 800 MG every 6 hours, Lidoderm RX Transdermal 5% lidocaine patches. Topical ointments include Max Strength Aspercreme with Lidocaine, Terrasil 3 x Action Shingles Skincare ointment, My Pain Away Fibro Cream, and Most recently a two-week trial of NerveRenew capsules. With all this I was still in agony and needless to say, more than just a little skeptical about this product, however when you are in this much pain you will try anything. I ordered the first jar on February 10 and it was delivered on Feb 13. I opened the Jar immediately and to my surprise, the relief was felt immediately, Prior to this, a baby receiving blanket brushing against my skin sent waves of intense pain through my torso. I steeled myself for the pain that was about to come as I needed to rub the cream into the skin I was amazed that as I started rubbing the cream into the skin instead of the pain increasing it got better and I could feel how the nerve paths were being interrupted because when I pressed against one area of my skin to rub in the cream, the tingling could be felt in a totally different spot on my torso. I finished my first Jar in a little less than a week, ordered a second Jar and have been very pleased with the results. The pain relief is not super long lasting maybe two and a half hours. This cream does not totally take away the pain, and does claim too, but it does as its name suggest, offers nerve pain relief in a soothing cream. I fully understand that results may vary, but I am here to tell you this product did as much if not more than extremely potent pain medication and narcotics to give some relief from the pain, without the harmful side effects. There is no way possible that I could be experiencing a placebo effect because if that were the case the myriad other salves and creams would have worked as well. I am glad I found this product and highly recommend it.

I bought because it said for shingles relief then its says Eczema & Psoriasis. It didn't work it helped a lil but still have the problem.

SECOND UPDATE 8/13: I would definitely buy this again for the post herpatic neuralgia stage of shingles. I keep it in the fridge and it helps the skin heal and is very soothing. It seems to work well on the burning, itching, stinging in conjunction w my doctor ordered meds to help keep me comfortable. UPDATE FOLLOWS INITIAL REVIEW/8-7-18 First time shingles victim, here. As the saying goes, any port in the storm. I received the shingles cream post haste. It is creamy and smells ok in a funky sorta way. I am in the second week of this dread thing. I have some drying up on my back and some looking weird and brown on my brache da fore as we say in Italian, demurely. The nerve pain is a complete and utter b*tch, people. I want to say that no kinda cream will make this feel better. You need medical intervention and then maybe creams like this one I am reviewing later on. What works is a doctor who gives you medicine to calm the nerves (Elavil, Neurontin, etc. I am not a doctor so talk to yours) and opioid medicine to help with the sheer pain (because some of it is aching, throbbing which this kind of medicine helps). You might also need something for the sheer terror of the pain (and my shingles is supposedly mild. What a horrifying thought). Then, add in a cream for soothing the skin and you might survive this without crying. The first week there was a great deal of crying. I've only had this cream for a few days but what I can say is that it has not taken away the stinging, burning, aching, throbbing, itching, burning, tremendously painful burning at all. It does soothe the skin. This is helpful when you reach the stage of being able to actually touch your skin. A cheaper alternative, soothing and reminds you of your childhood which is kinda helpful--a time when sh*t like this was chicken pox and it itched but did not cause a death wish kind of burning is--CALAMINE LOTION. OMG yes. Yes Yes. Yes.Go get you a VAT of calamine lotion. To be fair, I am going to come back and update this review after I use this cream for more than three days. Right now I feel like I am still in the calamine lotion stage, but I can see how this stuff will come in handy when, as the doc puts it so grossly: you crust over. This is a virus. Lots of fluids, a good diet, and YOU MUST REST, REST, REST. You need to get your immune system back online to get rid of Shingles and keep it away. Rest. You absolutely need the direction of your doc for the course of shingles. Don't go it alone. I will return with an update after I give this cream a good chance. UPDATE: So I'm in week three of this Dread Horror. It's the Post Herpatic Neuralgia part--the pain lingers but the visual aspects are healing. Nice. I think this product is best suited for the end of the acute phase and all of the PHN part. Put it in the fridge and it is perfect for the symptoms on the wane. In addition, I feel it helping with the PHN pain. Its basically the same pain at the same intensity, so I dont know why it seems to help now and not earlier. I think it's because the overall sickness feeling is gone...not so feverish, flush, the flu like aspects have resolved. The cold cream is soothing, helps with the scabbing itchiness, too. It really helps to be healing the skin and keeping the itch at bay--which you want because the skin is delicate at this healing point. Originally, I was going to send this back, but I am now going to keep it. It was a good buy. I believe it will come in handy with other skin irritations such as mosquito bites and another possible outbreak. With immunosuppressant issues, one never knows. Good to have it handy. The 4oz size is a very generous amount, as well. I'm giving this four stars because it was not helpful for the acute phase, but very helpful for the waning phase and somewhat for the PHN. I'm still on medicine to address that. I would definitely buy it again, if need be. Not a waste of money at all. You will be glad to have it when it comes time to get your skin cleared up, moisturized, and healed without more issues of burning or damage to the skin by a product full of something that may cause stinging, burning, itching. This product brings relief--refrigerate it for best results! Good luck!

This is such a wonderful product! I am 27 years old and I've never had such excruciating nerve pain in my entire life as I did with shingles. The pain medication prescribed to me was of no use and after seeking relief from my situation in pill form, I found out the hard way that I'm allergic to opiates (I went into anaphylactic shock). It hurt to move and the rash was extremely uncomfortable at best. I had these symptoms with no alleviation for upwards of 2 weeks and had nothing to reduce the pain due to the allergy. I ordered this Organic Shingles Relief Cream on a whim and oh my goodness! I applied upon arrival and felt almost immediate relief. I was very surprised that I found something that ACTUALLY relieved my pain. At that point, I had tried damn near everything and nothing seemed to work. Not only did this product abolish the nerve pain, but to my surprise the rash itself was not so swollen, red and itchy. My shingles were basically gone within the matter of a few days. This product is an amazing remedy and I'm so grateful that I found something to help with such a miserable issue. I highly recommend this product and can attest to it's unequivocal effectiveness in regard to the mitigation of pain caused by shingles. Pros: All natural, no strange odor, doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy, sticky or cakey, hydrating and doesn't leave any sort of "film" on the skin. Cons: Price (But considering this is an all-natural product it's bound to be a tad expensive. Also, since I now know that this is the only thing that helped my excruciating pain, I would pay ANY amount for it)

I came down with shingles in 2010. It is now 2017 and although the lesions are gone I was diagnosed with Post Herpetic Neuralgia which is a polite way of saying you are in excruciating pain day and night and nothing helps. I have tried it all including meds (no relief) steroid injections into my spine (no relief), acupuncture (no relief), pain meds (no relief) etc, etc, etc. For the last year I have used a cream prescribed by an MD and made by a compounding pharmacy--I went from a 9 pain level to a 5 which I though was incredible. But---lately the cream has stopped being effective and the pain level returned with a vengeance. I have no idea why I decided to go to Amazon to do research on shingle meds (not really expecting to find anything, but you get desperate after 7 years of pain. I read all the reviews and decided what the heck, I will try it and if it doesn't work I will send it back for a refund. It came this afternoon . I am so comfortable after applying the cream. I have to confess I was very skeptical but I was also very desperate. Nothing else has come close to the relief I feel. Shingles usually occur between the breast bone and the back bone which means I have been carrying alot of pain. Some folks get PHN in the area of the original shingles outbreak. That would be me. I am so comfortable I might even take a walk tomorrow....something I have not done in 7 years. If you havePHN listen to me. Give it a try. Seven years was a long time to suffer. Please take my advice.
