Mini 2 360° Propeller Guard, Compatibility: DJI Mini 4K, DJI Mini 2 SE, DJI Mini 2, DJI Mini SE

First the "Pro's" If you are a new drone operator like I am, these do give you a little piece of mind by helping protect your investment. On my second flight I clipped some branches and damaged two propeller blades. If I had these on I think I would have been fine. On a side note, these do fit the DJI Mini 4K too! Cons: 1.) They are time consuming to take off and put on. They seem to be a little fragile at first, but once they are on, they seem like they could take a pretty good bump with no problem. 2.) And this is a big one. When the DJI drone detects it has a payload, you are limited to 49 meters distance no matter what you have the App set at. 49 meters away and the drone stops and tells you maximum distance reached. I took them off and the drone was fine. I understand why they do this, to keep any would be nefarious individuals from using the drones to transport something they shouldn't. I just wish I had that information to begin with and didn't have to figure it out for myself. 3.) This product is really for any area you are flying in where there is a good chance of contacting some obstacle. It is not something you would use everyday. Bottom Line: I gave this 5 stars because it works the way it supposed to. Came at a fair price. Arrived quickly. And gives the drone a little added protection.

With the cage, I can push boundaries and explore confined spaces without worrying about damaging the propellers or the drone itself. While the propeller guard feels substantial, its fragility is evident, especially given its purpose. It's a trade-off between being strong enough to withstand impacts and being fragile enough to absorb and distribute the force of a collision, thereby protecting the drone. The DJI Mini 2 360° Propeller Guard is an essential accessory for those who want extra security during flights, especially in difficult conditions. It is durable, easy to install, and gives you confidence. It's a worthwhile investment for drone enthusiasts. Fly without fear with this reliable guardian.

Had these for many years now. I bought it because I was taking a trip overseas and will be visiting many waterfalls. Wanted to avoid having my drone fall incase it hits any branches or tress. It helped a lot. Good quality. Haven't had to replace these yet. Easy to install on the drone. Worth the money.

The guards themselves work very well. They are designed for the SE not the mini 4k but still fit almost perfect. The backside clips are VERY hard to get on but with muscle will click. When you open the DJI fly app the drone will recognize the extra weight and give a warning message that elevation and speed are now being limited to 100ft because of payload... that's very lame. Otherwise if you want to fly inside these are great! They don't effect speed much and definitely a must have to learn how to takeoff and basic maneuvers. I had them on for a week, then took them off.

Fits on the mini 2. The quality seems just like stock it. The flight capability is exactly like stock. Good value for the money. It doesn't make the noise level change at all. Much safer to fly inside does not affect the picture quality

The only complaint I have with this product is that it is a little hard to put it on the drone. Had to use some force to snap it on, but it fits well and works great!

Quite well designed, braces the legs too. It can’t protect your drone when you fly fast and reckless, that is just basic physics. It will result in exceeding 250 gram limit, with the drone defaulting to reduced altitude and speed suitable for those still learning to fly. Not really a problem since prop guard would just create drag and not offer much if any protection at high speed anyway. Unless you have money to burn, forget about sport mode and even normal mode at low altitude til you develop proficiency at avoiding obstacles. Not for use around trees, shrubs or anything else that can hook the cage, then damage your props and trap your drone somewhere up high where you can forever admire it from a distance. Without the cage, again at low speed, the props will swivel and bounce off branches and leaves pushing the drone away, often without prop damage or knocking you out of the air. This guard basically allows you to accidentally bump into and bounce off most things at very low speeds without crashing out, just remember to get away from walls if you bump so it doesn’t suck itself onto the wall, then fall and break something. The camera/gimbal basically have no protection, these are after all, just prop guards.

I had a very difficult time installing one of the guards. The clip to secure it would not click in place! I finally squeezed real hard and it clicked. All was well until I needed to remove the guards to put the drone into the bag to transport it. The clip broke when unclipping it, see photo. Since it is a hassle to return it, I will either throw them away or secure it with a cable tie.

Macht, was es soll. Passt gut. Wind Empfindlichkeit steigt wie erwartet an. Höherer Akkuverbrauch. Aber trotzdem für mich als Anfänger ein Must have. Hat sich auch beim Erstflug schon bezahlt gemacht.

Reduces drone fly time due to added weight, which is very logical. Highly recommended.

Full protection for the blades and weights like a feather. The only issue is it doesn’t fit in the bag.
