Can you enlarge the picture you are tracing?

This is just a light source not a projector or computer. You lay the original image on it then your drawing paper over that. The light goes through the paper so you can see the original just enough to be able to trace it. I used to do the same thing by tapping the original to a window on a bright day then my drawing page over that.

Can i use a different charger?

The instruction for it, and I believe them to be try, state that the charger mucst be able to put out 5V, 2Amps. Old USB chargers could only but out .5 Amps, but most new ones are OK.
