Loved it very flavorful
First time trying it. It’s very flavorful the S&B brand is bland compared to this one. I put a scotch bonnet pepper in it so I’m sure that increased the spiciness. This has a darker gravy to it which is unique. I’ll definitely buy more of this.

I should have tried this curry mix a long time ago!
It's, hands down, my new favorite. It's got nice heat, at least if you're comparing it to typical Japanese curry that has very little to no heat at all! It has a robust, savory flavor. I didn't make my curry with apples, since I was accidentally out, but I would imagine it would play great off the sweetness. I genuinely think it's the best flavor of Japanese curry I've ever tried. I just wish it was at the store!

Java Curry Hot- Great flavor
Great Curry flavor not very hot. This makes Japanese style curry, using beef, potatoes, carrots, and onions. Not much heat at least for me, they do not like heat like we do. I have bought multiple times, highly recommend this product.

My favorite Japanese curry
It is my favorite of all Japanese curries, though I wish it was a little spicier. Add cumin, coriander, garlic, or ginger for extra flavor!

I was told that this would be the spiciest curry out of all the Japanese curry roux. This is so not spicy. This is even less spicy than Golden Curry Hot. Also it’s not even tasty! What a letdown. Just get Golden Curry Extra Hot (packaging in English) or Golden Curry Extra Hot in Japanese (packaging in Japanese—it’s hotter!)
