Super Comfortable and Stable!
These crutches are fantastic! I was recovering from a very badly broken ankle, so I needed to be non-weight bearing for a long time. But, I'd also managed to break a finger, so I couldn't put weight on the palm of my hand like you have to while using traditional crutches. These solved the problem by putting the weight on my forearms instead of my hands. As a plus, putting my weight on my forearms removed the pressure from my wrists and armpits as well. With traditional crutches, all of the weight is supposed to go on the palms of your hands. But then your wrists end up getting sore, which is why most people also put some weight on the pad in their armpit. However, putting weight into your armpits is not good for your shoulder, and I know a few people who've ended up with shoulder injuries from traditional crutches. With these Kmina crutches, because the weight of your body is supported by your entire forearm, they remove the irritation of pressure points that traditional crutches cause. Also, the bottom on these crutches had a pad that was bigger and softer rubber than traditional crutches. Since I have hardwood floors in my house, it made them more stable on the slippery wood. In fact, my broken finger was caused by slipping while using traditional crutches. I wish I'd bought these right away! The crutches were really easy to use, although I was a little confused at first. The video for the Kmina Pro crutches on YouTube was very helpful for figuring out how to use them. I also kept mixing up the left from the right, so I finally marked one with a little piece of tape to visually identify them easily. They're not cheap, but they're totally worth it if you have a long recovery period. And they're certainly cheaper than injuring your shoulder or breaking your finger as traditional crutches caused me to do! While I'm hoping I never need to use any crutches ever again, if I do I'll definitely only use these.

They are worth the money
I had some standard forearm crutches at home, but this time I had a long term injury and I needed something better. This one is more expensive and if you need 2 you have to buy both left and right units. The first time I used this one, it seemed strange since it is a totally different concept, but in a few hours I began to notice that it was very comfortable compared to a conventional one. Another aspect that I really liked is its ability to adapt perfectly to your body. It has a regulation with multiple positions, both in height and in the forearm length. Regarding the shipping and packaging, it arrived on time and perfectly packed, with instructions included. Something to improve? Yes, you have to assemble it and it would be better to be easier to assemble. Although the assembly is very detailed in the instructions. Would I buy it again? Yes, it is a great solution to walk faster, safer and with a better body position. If you want to improve your quality of life, they are definitely worth the money!

I really wanted to love this...but
I own canes but I wanted something with a bit more stability for when I am out and about, but something smaller then a walker. When I ran across these I thought it was the perfect solution, but it turns out not to be the case. The two stars I gave it are because it is solid and appears fairly well made. I am short and had to adjust everything to basically the shortest setting. The problem truly is that it feels loose and wobbly when using it. If I put some of my weight on it and start to walk it just feels like it's free floating and moving around beside me, which is odd...I thought a platform arm with a wider floor tip would work for me. Maybe I'm just unlucky, maybe it's user error, but something as simple as a crutch should be intuitive to use. I didn't get traditional crutches because I thought these would be easier on my body, but it sort of doesn't seem to matter. Balance is my issue and these miss the mark.

Works Great.
I am very pleased with this product. It's not perfect, but it's close enough for 5 stars. I bought this to help me out at work. Borderline ready for hip surgery/replacement and just trying to hold off as long as possible. If you can believe it, I work in a warehouse, and this crutch lets me do my job without screaming like a girl 20 times an hour. It was a little awkward at first keeping my leg synched with the crutch. I used loose zip ties to keep the crutch tethered to my ankle and had it down by the end of the day. The plastic guard for the forearm is a little tight for me, but it still works rather well. I am absolutely able to use both hands to lift or move something and not loose the crutch. Even if it does slip off, the upper part of the crutch is easy to hold onto with an elbow. Again, I do a lot of lifting, pulling, pushing at my job and this crutch has made it manageable for me. It takes me twice as long, but it works. I did not see, and can't imagine another crutch that provides this level of mobility and control. Highly recommend. Goes on the top of the best things I have ever bought on Amazon list.

Comfortable and sturdy
I love this crutch. LOVE. IT. 4/5 because I have some design improvements to suggest. I have hip pain, mostly in my right hip. Leaning heavily on a standard cane helps the hip, but it transfers pain to my wrist, shoulder, and back. It also fully occupies one hand. This is so different. It takes the weight off my hip, but it doesn’t cause everything else to start hurting. I can use my hand without it falling over. It takes a bit to get used to moving with it. You swing the cane forward more with your shoulder than your elbow. I still find it a little awkward on stairs. I’m a larger person- about 250#. I can lean all my weight on this without any hesitation. It’s sturdy, but still lightweight. I’ve attached a small bag to it, designed to use with canes. It works beautifully to hold my phone, keys, and cards. Even with the bag, this isn’t too heavy for me. Be aware though that it IS heavier than a “regular” cane. Now, some changes I’d make in design: Either make the over-the-arm piece adjustable, or use a large band of Velcro instead. This is the one place where the crutch doesn’t “fit” my body. It wouldn’t fit any better for a very thin person. It’s designed for average, medium build users. Design it to collapse and extend (like a telescope) or to fold. It’s awkward to get it in and out of the car, and to find a safe place for it in the car. That’s it; that’s all the changes I’d make. For me, this cane has allowed me to walk farther with less fatigue, to feel supported enough to relieve my hip, and to not start hurting in new places because of using it.

Best cane ever!
This is an amazing, well built assisted walking device. Prior to this, I used a hurri cane, while it was a good cane, I suffer from carpal tunnel and continued use was eventually going to cause me to have surgery. Since receiving this new cane/crutch, I no longer feel the pain in my hand and may be able to put off surgery! It is super easy to use, the only thing that I would change is to have an ability to fold or collapse it.

Most comfortable crutch
After using conventional crutches for years and wearing out my shoulders, I happened to spot the Kmina crutch on a TV program. My wife researched it and I decided to try it. I was happy with it from the beginning. It takes the pressure off the armpits and shoulders and spreads the weight between the forearm and hand enabling you to walk upright with no discomfort from the shoulder area. Great shock absorption makes for comfortable support without jarring contact with the walking surface.
