I was pleasantly surprised as l wasn't sure it would hide and seal the damp but it has. It smelt a little but not too badly. Went on my walls easily and looks really good. I would certainly recommend this item

This was a great paint worked really well on a few little damp patches that had been on ceiling for a while , however not enough to d whole ceiling, would work out expensive

Delivery was good it was packed very well . I’ve only done one coat so far on a corner wall which my paint started flaking on . I scraped all the paint away first and washed away the small amount of mould with a bleach based spray and a mould remover to do extra . The wall was cold dame feeling when i applied it. It’s thicker than normal paint but applies really easy I used a brush . It’s great coverage . I have to do a second coat but in some places I applied it thick enough that it won’t need a second a coat. I’ve had to do quite a big space and the 2.5 litre looks like it’s plenty even after doing a second coat . The smell is a like lighter fluid , it’s not that strong but the room does need ventilation . Lucky for me it’s a very windy day today . Will update once it’s all dry and done for a few months . Now July and the wall is good so I’m glad I got this . I would say the weather has been good but summer is nowhere to be seen and the wall hasn’t flaked or peeled it’s still fresh. Will update again in winter . Now February 2025 and we have seen some terrible rainy weather in the last year and my wall has stayed perfect . No flaking, peeling or discolouration was definitely a good buy . Now July 2025 the wall is good no flaking peeling or damp coming back through . Just uploaded photos of the wall. I have done terrible DIY job as I have used the wrong colour white paint . Also I haven’t done a good job managing the drips down the wall which is all my fault not the damp paint or any paint . I have to repaint my whole room white to match but the damp paint has done a great job ! Update January 2026 The wall is still good , no flaking no damp coming back through it’s great . Behind my sofa and up the corner wall I had the worst flaking of paint and damp . And since using this paint it has not come back . The last photo with the green/red lights is the latest photo. I do keep a nice gap between the wall a sofa just to ensure airflow although it got damp before even with the gap.

I needed a damp proof paint for my outside wall as paint was peeling and I could see mould underneath. I used this Ronseal after preparing the wall. That was 2 weeks ago. It's covered the area nicely. No mould is coming through and no more peeling paint. It worked very well. I will paint over it with sandtex masonary paint and my wall will be good as new. Great stuff. Don't hesitate to buy.
