How do you use the itch support gold for dogs

My dog enjoys no sugar added applesauce, so we administer the itch support to her by mixing it into the sauce.

Cytopoint shots only seem to help my dog.  The shots are very costly and shots seem to last only about a month.  Apoquel doesn't help. Equal to shot?
