It was my first time Making my own pinch pleats and they turned out really well! The hardest part was measuring the width and determining where to start so they all end up in the same place. I looked it up and found how to measure it out. This stuff is wonderful and the sewing machine goes through it like butter. It’s very very very easy to use - I recommend it!

This fabric is thick and sturdy. That makes it a little diff UTI work with (be prepared), but that’s what makes the pleats look nice. I used 4-leg pleat pins and then skipped to pin pockets between each pleat. My sister, who once sold draperies, said they looked nice, looked like some designer drapes she sold before—of course, the fabric choice helped too.

Wow! I didn't expect this level of quality from this pleat tape, I am blown away. The description explains that this product is 100% cotton, durable, can be repeatedly cleaned, and has a service life of more than 20 years. Now that I started working with it, I can absolutely see how this will last decades. This tape is THICK, a lot heavier and stiffer than any other pleat tape I've used in the past. I would say it's as thick as a dense canvas, and quite stiff that it reminds me of starched cotton. It holds the fabric and pleats in place like none other (though being thick it's a little trickier to sew, but totally worth it). It's a good value for the quality, and certainly a product I will come back to for curtains. Definitely recommend!
