Great quality, great range – just start small
Really happy with this weighted vest. The build quality is solid, the price was right, and I love that it offers such a wide range — you can go as light as 20 lbs and scale all the way up to 150. It’s comfortable to wear considering the weight, though fair warning: once you load it up, it will feel heavy — that’s the point. Here’s my old-man advice if you’re new to weighted vests: don’t start at the top. Add weight gradually and let your body adapt — wear it for walks or around the house first before you jump into workouts. Your joints, back, and knees will thank you. Once you’re used to it, this vest becomes an incredible tool for training, hiking, or just turning everyday movement into exercise. Overall, it’s exactly what I wanted — sturdy, adjustable, and capable of growing with you as you get stronger.

Great product!
This adjustable weighted vest if very good. You can add or remove the weights to fit your comfort and strength level. You can put the sand bag weights in the front and back of the vest. This is a great method to improve your overall strength and conditioning. The vest came with 10 sand bags. I sweat a great deal when I use this vest. I usually just let it dry out outside. About once a week, I will run it through our washing machine (without the weights) on the delicate cycle to clean and deodorize. The vest is comfortable. I do use the shoulder pads to increase comfort. It fits great.

Great weight distribution!
When you pick this thing up and feel the full weight you think, "there's no way Im going to be able to put this on". Then you carefully slide in to it and realize that the perfect weight distribution makes this pretty darn bearable. In fact, your legs are more likely to get tired than your back is! I needed this to train for a fitness test coming up. I love the ease of adjusting the weight to what I want, and the 5 pockets on both sides give you options for where you put the weights. Its comfortable and the lower chest band gives great support. I didnt get the ones with the shoulder pads, and while I do think they would make it more comfortable, you can easily add your own make shift padding that will do the same thing. This is a great exercise tool to really help you build muscle and strength. Its very good quality and seems like it will be durable over time.

Do not Run in This
This is a fantastic product if you want to add something extra to your walk. Its heavier then a military vest, and after buying an extra sandbag to shoot at, could potential save you like one as well buuuut don't bet on it. I use this vest for adding a little extra to my choirs and when Im going up and down stairs. It fits well on a 270lb guy like me, but there are some draw backs to it that I have found annoying. The first is that when bending down to grab something the velcro doesnt hold the best. Most of the time I have to hold the vest in place if Im reaching for something. It's also bulky so don't expect to be doing push-ups with weights in the front unless your planning on using platforms to rise up a bit. The other drawback is trying to get the weights just right in the vest. I found that if I have a spot between two of them it is hard to get it fully packed in the slot. Also if using the full 60lbs I would recommend wearing something a little thicker even with the pads on it. The positive aspects would be that you can adjust the weight as needed. I started out with 30lbs and moved up from there. Plus with the pads on it I can wear it for longer periods of time. The max Ive been able to wear it is 3hrs. One other amazing thing is that it acts great for stability control on other exercises. When Im not wearing it I can blast a few curls with it that adding the extra movement really hits home. Plus you can hold it crossed armed up to your chest to do squats with or wear it as well. Pros: Balance Control Adjustable weights Great add on for basic work outs Maybe save a life, who knows Cons: Sand shifts making it hard to get weights in sometimes Pads have to be shifted just right or hurts collar bone Velcro not the best Needs more padding DON'T RUN, this thing bounces around too much. I now understand the pains some women have to deal with running. Almost poked an eye out

A good buy
I am very pleased with this weighted vest. It appears to be made well and my walks are very challenging with it loaded at 48lbs (I bought a 60lb vest, but removed some of the weights). It is as comfortable as can be expected. The main discomfort is felt in the shoulders, though I did buy it with the shoulder pads. This vest is less expensive and more comfortable than the vest I had from one of the big fitness companies. I definitely recommend this vest. Get more results from your walks!

Incredible adjustable weighted vest — perfect for serious training
The RUNmax Adjustable Weighted Vest has become one of my go-to training tools. Being able to adjust from 20 lbs up to 150 lbs means I can scale it for everything from warm-ups to heavy strength sessions. What I love: • Super adjustable — Add or remove weight plates easily without fuss • Comfortable & secure fit — Doesn’t bounce around during sprints or burpees • Durable build — Thick stitching and solid materials — feels like it’ll last years • Great for rugby conditioning — I use it for runs, sled pushes, HIIT, and bodyweight strength work Bonus: The plate pockets are well-balanced so it doesn’t throw your center of gravity off — huge plus when doing lateral work or change-of-direction drills. If you’re serious about functional strength, endurance, or sport-specific conditioning like rugby, this vest is totally worth it.

very good for shorties and a recovery rehab routine
This weighted adjustable vest is more than enough to train with. I am short about 159 cm and my weight is 75 KG. Adding this weighted vest to your workout is a lot. If you do a yoga or body weight workouts this will be heavy and it will exhaust you making the workout a lot harder. I do my daily routine workout without the vest. But when I do one hand push up and push ups the workout will become very hard. But I didn't use the vest with the door pull ups .I think the door pull up won't handle the total weight of 85 KG. Sometimes the workout can't be done with the vest. I feel I need some kind of training to be able to pull myself or to do the workout. It is good for walking and running I tried it with my indoor treadmill. And it will add extra load to your body and your legs. But I recommend jogging, walking or running outside your home. The shoulder pads will add some comfort to your shoulders. I recommend buying the vest with shoulder pads. The vest is a bit bulky. When you do push ups or one hand push up the vest will hit the floor. But you can continue using it with that size. When you finish the workout you will feel a pump. And it enhances the shape of your belly and body at the short run. I have been using it for 2 weeks but there is no leakage from it. And I give my salutations to amazon customer support for helping me delivering it. UPDATE!!! Guys be careful of this vest. You will get excited and you will use it a lot. I used this vest with one hand push ups, dead lift, olympic lifts and I did some extra exercises. I went in a state which is called "overload" of the shoulders. You will feel pain inside your joints and muscles which will last with you for quit a long time more than 3 weeks. To avoid it DO NOT use the vest with that kind of exercises which will result in some kind of pain or you can adjust the weight to half the volume. I know it is useful but you will end in an injury or overload state of your shoulders. It is better to do muscles stretching and mobility recovery and rehab. In case if you went into that state, stop exercising the upper parts of your body. And do not wear the vest and keep using the lower part of your body. At the time of writing this update I am doing stretches and rehabbing to my right shoulder that is because I was wearing the vest and doing 4 exercises. Dead lift, Olympic lift with bad technic, and one hand pushup. All while wearing the vest. One more thing. Go to Alo wellness club website and search for the recovery you want to start again without the vest for at least 2 or 4 weeks then use it gradually to get back into your routine.

Well-built weighted vest with rare shoulder pad option—worth grabbing while it’s available
This vest does what it’s supposed to and does it well. The weight is adjustable in clean increments, the fit is secure, and the shoulder pads make a real difference for longer sessions. Most vests skip that comfort layer or sell it separately—this one includes it, and it’s hard to find again once stock dries up. The nylon shell wipes clean easily, and the sandbag weights stay put without shifting. It’s bulky at full load, but the balance is solid and the straps hold firm. No bouncing, no awkward shifting, and no stitching failures so far. If you’re serious about adding resistance to walks, stairs, or bodyweight work, this is a reliable pick. Just don’t wait on the shoulder pad version—it’s not something you’ll easily source later.
