Thought that someone else might find this idea to be useful... I cut one of these in half and it makes a great place to put these when they are not in use. Easy to move the tray around on my desk and better for me than any other option I saw for keeping these handy and putting them in sleep mode. Notes: I put some black foam between the magnets and used electrical tape to keep them upright so that it easy to place them in the "tray." Trimming the areas where the cuts were made to separate the "lid" from the "tray" was easy and this looks as if this was something that was intended for this use from the manufacturer. The led to, also carefully trimmed, making the "lid" a good gift for a friend who does beading. By the way, the case is also super for its intended purpose (I bought two of these). I threw the very well made, and poorly designed (for my needs anyway) Apple Smart Case in the trash.

I lost my case to my airpod max headphones and this case is the perfect case to fit them, it is hard on the outside to protect the headphones, the weight is very light, the color is so pretty. I would overall recommend.

This hard case for the AirPods Max is very well made and extremely rigid. It feels protective and gives me a lot of confidence that the headphones are safe from being crushed or scuffed. If you travel with your AirPods Max in a backpack or bag on a regular basis, a hard case like this is absolutely worth having. I do not use the hard case all the time because opening and closing the zipper can be a bit inconvenient for quick access. For short trips, such as going to work, the library, or leaving them in the car, I usually keep the headphones in the standard case so I can grab them quickly. Where this case really shines is during travel or any situation where the headphones will be bouncing around in a backpack while walking. In those cases, I put them in this hard case and do not worry about them at all. There is also enough room inside to store the charging cable, which is convenient. I am not entirely sure whether the magnets inside the case put the headphones into sleep mode, but battery life has never been an issue for me. The AirPods Max charge quickly and last long enough that this has not mattered in real-world use. Overall, if you want solid protection while moving around or traveling, this hard case does exactly what it should and provides real peace of mind.

Just a heads up. I just got the new AirPod Max headphones (USB-C) in blue and the sky blue case is a perfect match! Everything the case is supposed to do it does the quality is good. The zippers are nice. The inside is plush and for the price I seriously doubt you could get a better case. I have not tried it with the Apple case on as well, so I don’t know if that works, but frankly, I don’t care because I hate the Apple case. The magnets seem to work just fine. I left it in the case overnight and the battery didn’t drain at all so I think you have to just pay attention when you put them in to make sure the magnets are sort of moved into the right place because it works fine here. 👍🏼👍🏼 *EDIT on 10/03/2024 The Apple Case does fit inside. The case itself does work - goes into low power mode. I have to wonder if some folks are not putting the magnets in the upright position before closing it up? Also, ZERO smell. I really love this case. After a couple weeks, I’d def recommend it!

This case is fantastic! I've accidentally dropped it several times, and it still looks brand new, without a single scratch. It effectively maintains the battery charge of my AirPods and ensures they stay powered off while stored inside the case. The design is not only sturdy but also highly functional, providing excellent protection while allowing for seamless charging and storage. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

Love co2CREA cases in general and most of all the way these hold and protect my AirPods Max, these are what should have come with the headphones over the standard cover/holder. At this price, it's a great buy, light weight and easy to put the headphones in and out of them inside the standard apple "bra". It looks official and would highly recommend!
