Great Product
This breaker finder is great for finding unmarked breakers in your breaker box. Just plug the remote signal sender into any receptacle and then use the probe to scan the breakers. When the tone is heard for the second time (second pass over the breakers) you have pinpointed the breaker which is controlling the receptacle into which the remote is inserted. Sounds complicated but it isn't. The remote sends a signal over the house wiring from the receptacle to the breaker box. The Breaker Finder receives the signal and identifies the breaker. Works great. Saved me a lot of time identifying unmarked breakers in my breaker box.

Buy this. Great safety tool.
Don’t mess with electricity without these essential tools. You’ll know with certainty if a wire or an outlet is hot (carrying electricity) or safe to work on. All the professionals use one. You should too.

It stopped working after only a few uses.
It isn't very accurate...it does work if you move really slowly around the breakers...but then after three uses it just stopped working completely.

Works great if you follow the instructions exactly as written
Works great if you follow the instructions exactly as written. I have loaned it to friends and they couldn't get it to work until I demonstrated it as per the instructions. On very small or the piggy back double breakers it will get you within one breaker of the right one that I don't have a problem with.
