Cuisinart HM-3 Power Advantage 3-Speed Hand Mixer, White

This is a solid, basic hand mixer. Light, easy to use, slow speed prevents splatter, high speed fast enough for whipping cream. This mixer compares favorably to other brands costing two or three times as much. There are no dough hooks or other accessories, but it has a powerful 200 watt motor, decent quality stainless beaters, a swivel power cord, and a square back so it rests on the counter without tipping.

I read a lot of reviews on hand held mixers because the last three I bought were way too fast on the lowest speed when you need to mix things in slowly. This mixer really does what it's supposed to do on the lowest speed, mix without throwing any of what you are mixing out of the bowl. It also mixes well at the highest speed. If you want a hand held that seems to do it all this is the one for you. Good at all speeds. Fast enough to whip up cream and slow enough not to spew thing out of your mixing bowl. I wish they offered flat beaters as well as the wire ones that came with the mixer though. Otherwise, a good choice for your kitchen.

As long as it turns on for the price I paid it is good. This isn't a heavy duty mixer. A good stand mixer is what you need to do dough and stuff. This is for the easy stuff so you don't have to drag the big one out. Whipping egg whites....a box cake mix. That type of thing.

Great mixer for being portable.

I've owned two rather expensive hand mixers. Neither comes close to this bargain priced Cuisineart. There's not a lot of frills. But its three speeds are quite good, especially low speed, which slowly starts to blend all the ingredients without splashing -- it's great. The medium and high speeds seem capable of handling any task. There's no center rod in the beaters, making them exceptionally easy to clean. And the cord rotates and locks in position for either left- or right-handed users. Add in the powerful motor and easy beater ejection and you have quite a value!

I was absolutely delighted to locate a Cuisinart handheld mixer with LOW, MEDIUM, and HIGH settings! The item's description was exact, and it didn't make a lot of noise either. Cleaning it is a breeze. With this mixer I was able to easily make delicious baked goods and desserts that needed a low setting.

I don't need fancy stuff, and this fills the bill! Not a bad price, and it's a reliable brand.

Love this for a quick little job when I don’t want to bother with the big mixer. Super easy to work and easy to clean. I also love the shape of the beaters. They are rounded as opposed to the old flat ones. These seems to glide much easier against the bowl without the harsh edges which makes it quieter and safer for the bowl!
