This is a great starter plane, that is vert easy to set up and get flying. It's great fun, and my son loves it. It's probably not suitable for children younger than 8, you obviously need calm weather for it, but it seems very durable, and already has survived a few hard landings on grass. My one bit of advice would be to glue the wheels in place. They are only pushed in place, and can come out quiet easily on a hard landing. We've lost ours already. But apart from that, it's a great plane. Well worth the money.

***update**** The seller got in touch and has send a new plane. What a great customer service. We will enjoy the plane now and now not to fly when the wind is to strong. A very happy boy at home now. It’s a great little toy at first but as soon as the wind gets hold of it it’s gone. First time flying it today and it’s gone with the wind. It was only a light breeze and based on the instructions you should start against the wind. Everything went well at first but one stronger breeze lifted the plain so high that even with no throttle at all it would not come down again. We could only watch it fly away backwards in the wind . My boy was looking forward to learning the basics of flying and now I have a very sad boy at home. Better to buy something heavier and more powerful that can actually control altitude as this one has only throttle and left and right.

Lightweight and easy to fly

This product is light and it can't be drove when there us wind unless it is a little breeze. However it is easy to fly and fun to play with, thurfer more the product can't be drove in small spaces it has to be drove outdoors in a big field so you don't break or lose it. I really love plane my kids are fascinated I think this is a good product. 👍 😀🙎‍♂️

This was brilliant at first, but 6 months down the line and the plane won't connect to the controller anymore. Have tried everything!

Wow ! What an amazing first plane for my 12 year old ! He mastered it with in minutes. Hours of endless fun. Because of this plane. He now wants to do it as a hobby ! We have had a break or two. But because of the material it’s made from a really good super glue has fixed it with out noticing !Would 100% recommend this plane !

The Hawks Work 2 Channel RC plane resulted in a deeply upsetting experience for the children and felt like a complete waste of resources. While we were eager to see it fly the design proved entirely impractical for outdoor use. The foam construction is so lightweight that it lacks the mass required to descend or remain stable during even a very light breeze. Our experience occurred when the wind speed was even lower than the maximum recommended in the manual. That manual recommendation is already far too low and makes the product impractical for most regions of the world. On the very first flight attempt the aircraft caught a minor air current and drifted away uncontrollably. Despite both adults and children desperately chasing it the plane was too light to combat the wind and vanished from sight. It was heartbreaking to watch the children so disappointed after losing their new toy within minutes. The flimsy build makes the aircraft nearly impossible to retrieve once it gains height. This purchase caused a very stressful day and we strongly advise others to avoid this product.

This is great it flys easy , great fun me and my son 9 have great fun I bought "him" two lol it's the yellow plane also on amazon they're both good , it would be better with 1 more battery instead of 2 , it will get blown away in wind so be careful my boy had It blowing over some house but managed to get it back which was so much fun nearly lost it. Really good we enjoy flying these on a really calm dry days it's great way better then sat inside on a console , take off is full power and just a light throw and they're off would buy again , we've got two types and I like to try fly it low and past my son lol its fun lol

The plane arrived in brand new condition. Both my boys mastered the controls within the second day of play. My 12 year old and 10 year old absolute love it. It is lightweight and flies well. Taxi take off works best on smooth surfaces. According to the boys, it's best on ice! I'd imagine a nice smooth driveway would work nicely as well. Landing gear pops off on rough landing but that shouldn't be a problem once you've mastered the controls to land smoothly. Overall, one of the best toys we've purchased on Amazon. Highly recommend this to anyone

I purchased one of these in hopes if all went well I'd buy a couple more as holiday presents. On my first flight, I made several successful laps, but then the throttle seemed to stick, and the plane kept moving higher and higher until it was gone no matter if I gave it no throttle. I contacted their customer support who was very responsive, and Lucy was great to work with. Normally they do not replace a plane lost in flight; but in my scenario they agreed to. I received a new one quickly, and tried it over the weekend with my family. It worked perfectly, I didn't lose it, and even my Dad wanted to try it. He did and loved it! Now he wants one, so I'm likely going to buy him one as well. It's made of styrofoam and felt sort of "cheap" at first, but with no prior RC plane experience, I see why this is necessary. With its light weight I was able to land it in the grass easily with no damage which may happen with a heavier plane. Great for beginners and loads of fun. Would definitely recommend, and again appreciate the prompt and friendly customer service!

Easter to fly!

Volevo un Aereo Radiocomando da regalare a mio figlio di 8 anni ed iniziare da un modello economico. Ebbene, posso dire che questo Areo, è veramente costruito bene, facile da pilotare, stabile in volo, ovviamente essendo fatto di polistirolo, bisogna evitare giornate di vento. Sono riuscito a farlo volare, molto distante, non so quantificare la distanza, però vi posso garantire che per il suo prezzo, è molto performante!! Il decollo può essere effettuato sia da terra oppure lanciandolo con le mani. L'unica pecca.... è il carrello delle ruote abbastanza leggero, che si piega facilmente e si può rompere.... Quindi, il mio consiglio è di farlo decollare con le mani. In conclusione, sono molto soddisfatto, (anche gli adulti si possono molto divertire), LO CONSIGLIO A TUTTI!!!
