Ive used a lot of trimmers over the years. This one's amazing. Had it for over a year and the battery life is still excellent. Only one thing - don't take off the head to wash it, or you'll wash away the lubricant grease. Even without the grease, though, the one I've got still runs great.

Overall, it’s a great product with excellent versatility, and it performs well for multiple grooming needs. The machine itself feels durable and ergonomic. However, I noticed one crucial feature missing: a charging indicator light. This is a very important feature that would help users know whether the device is charging or fully charged. Without it, it’s difficult to monitor the charging process, which can be inconvenient. I still recommend it for its functionality, but I hope this improvement is considered.

Worth for this money

I brought this in Oct 2023. Like one of the reviewers mentioned, it is plastic and perhaps the edges are stainless steel. Anyway, it failed in less than 6 months. I took it to their distributor, Al ghandi electronics and they repaired it. Shy of 1 year, it failed again and this time, I am told it is a water damage and can't be repaired. I explained that it is a trimmer and is expected to be used in the washroom & not living room void of any water, but my humour and argument were both rejected. Later, I got a call from Philips asking for my feedback and I explained it all to them for which they politely replied it will be well documented but ofcourse, the official KPI ends at just documenting it and not really taking action. So if you are looking for the old fashioned disposable razer, this should work for you at a premium price

La maquina es pequeña, con una buena duración de batería, y muy cómoda. Le puedo añadir los accesorios de una seria 6000 que tenia anteriormente, y son compatibles y funcionan perfectos. Ha sido una buena maquina, y sigue siéndolo, además a un buen precio.

Das Gerät habe ich fast schon 1 Jahr und ich musste den Akku nicht 1 Mal laden. Aber Achtung! Der Netzstecker ist für die Amerikanische Steckdose. NICHT für die Deutsche! Man müsste sich also ein Adapter Amerikanisch auf Deutsche kaufen.

Very good After 2 months of use and no problems so far

So my first time I have had a beard and I was using scissors for awhile which was very time consuming and could not really shorten the beard with scissors much, also bit dangerous. I looked around and found this one could trim many types of beard in particular just above stubble type look and level. The price was amazing for what u get and what it does. The design is very good light and easy to hold, attachments with trimmer impressive it even has a travel bag. First time use was expecting either a beard accident or cuts BUT neither occurred was brilliant to use and done a perfect job. No irritation at all during or after shave and did not even have wet my face or use shaving foam. So barber said £10 per trim on beard and once a week at least maybe twice my friend does that I find it a waste of time and hassle going to barbers. By my calculations this trimmer has paid for itself within 2-3 weeks maximum. Cleaning it was so easy as attachment comes off easily. My son bought one same brand at around £80 save your money and just get this one. In fact wasted £20 as I bought a separate nostril and hair removal trimmer which this can do as well.
