Needed to attach and old xbox 360 to an HDMI only tv
Me and the mrs are really sad and still enjoy playing Tiger Woods gold on the old xbox. The new tv we bought didn't have any of the scart or rgb ports. This worked amazingly well and the picture is better than we used to get. Many more round have been played.

Perfect for the Nintendo Wii
Bought this to connect composite output from the Wii to my new TV that only has HDMI. Picture quality does suffer ever so slightly in the conversion to HDMI but still very playable.

Useful HDMI converter for PS2
Really useful bit of kit for a PS2, worlked fine straight out of the box. Dropping one star as I do get the occassional black out for a couple of seconds on the screen and/or audio. I wonder if it is a power issue to the box, so I may try a >5w plug to see if it helps. It upscales the image as well, so lovely text, and rough edges generally smoothed out. I previously tried a cable that the video was dark it made everything unplayable, no brightness or lagging issues with this box at all.

Faulty product - no refund/replacement
Brought this item from Amazon for a pro multicam era live streaming setup, already owning several similar. Item drop frames and black screens using a 1080i feed. Amazon returns procedure rediculous and contravenes the UK distance selling law. Supplier uncontactable. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Generally hope you'll go away and forget for such a small purchase.

Works
Easy to set up & works first time.

Does the job
This is no escaler nor deinterlacer, so the target device must support all source signals. The signal conversion looks good (way better than my TV builtin component input) and actually did notice way less noise via this device than plugged straight to the TV.

The received unit is defective
Upon installation, to my PS2 it just resulted in a black screen. I made sure to switch to Y/Pb/Pr mode. I figure its simply a defective unit which unfortunately I cannot rate highly because it simply is not usable. EDIT: Upon contacting the seller they were extremely helpful and polite, they guided me through some steps in hopes of fixing my issue but unfortunately they did not work. At this point, th ey immediately offered me a refund. Extremely helpful and polite support.
