Glue

Mac Glue is the best glue for doing glass on glass mosaics. It’s easy to use, it dries fast and clear, there is no smell and one bottle will last a very long time. I just purchased my second bottle but I bet I’ve got several months left on the first bottle and I do a mosaic every week. I used to use weldbond but will use Mac from now one. I’ll only use weldbond to do a wash if I ever do a mosaic with transparent glass to prevent grout bleed because I know I don’t use enough Mac to cover the back of the glass - because you don’t have to. It really holds and I try really hard not to have to pry up anything I’ve glued down with it because it’s not easy to do.

I used this on my glass on glass window projects. Dries crystal clear, strong bond, not too thick, which makes it go a long way on projects. Hasn’t dried out in bottle, which I am careful to keep closed when not in use. Love this stuff.....Amazon get it back in stock right away!

This glue is expensive but fabulous! I have an outdoor heavy, concrete turtle who lost its head. This glue secured the heavy head quickly despite the porous nature of concrete.

This is my favorite glue for stained glass on glass mosaic art. A little goes a long way. Be sure to cap when not in use as it dries quickly. This product is for glueing flat projects. It is thin and will not hold pieces against gravity.

I have recently been using MAC glue on glass on glass applications and I truly love this glue. It dries clear so the back side of my mosaics stand out just like the front side. No glue line shows. Just a little bit does the job. It does cost somewhat more up front but now I will use no other glue for my glass on glass Art work.
