Does this require any additional license or support? Can I at least download and update firmware without purchasing a support contract?

You really shouldn't buy Cisco Enterprise products from Amazon as they usually can't be covered under support (SmartNet) or other subscription licenses. Specifically with the Firepower units or anything else that need Cisco Smart Licensing accounts and/or DNA licensing, you can't do this without an authorized reseller. The base license (no AnyConnect, no IPS, no AMP, no content filtering) for these Firepower units is free, but must be registered to a Cisco Smart account, otherwise will run in evaluation mode for 90 days.

Does it have a Command line interface ?

If you use the asa image yes. If you use the ftd image (the default) changes to the configuration are primarily made through a web GUI or an fmc. There is a cli, but very limited compared to asa.

Will i be able to purchase a smartnet license with this product since it is sold via amazon?
