Q: Are these more durable than the QSC 12's?

Almost certainly. First of all, these are fan cooled! Secondly, I was at a wedding this spring and the DJ had QSC 12's. It was not good at all, he had to max them out for only 42 people on the dance floor (he had a 112 QSC sub as well). There is no comparison to these speakers.
