SuperMoss (15750) Aspen Wood Excelsior, Natural, 4 Ounce Bag

This excelsior is Perfect! Non toxic, dry but not brittle. No little broken pieces in the bag etc. shipping was immediate. I posted a question about the product and noticed two hours later that a response from the seller had been waiting for me, so 10 stars each for product and customer service! I am using the excelsior for a young squirrel that somehow lost his right rear foot, and part of that leg. He is living in a hollowed out Catalpa tree, which.. he might as well be sleeping in a sieve when it rains, and winter snows are thankfully late this year, but quickly approaching. The squirrel is adjusting pretty well, but because his handicap is obvious in his lack of speed and coordination, he is pretty much a loner. Squirrels usually spend winters with at least one other squirrel, to keep each other warm, so this excelsior is going to help keep him comfy and dry in his new squirrel house. The seller has a great heart, and made sure the squirrel would have enough bedding, and that he had it ASAP. I will buy everything I can from this seller. Based on his ethics alone, I cannot reccomend this seller enough. The excellent quality of the product though.. make this a no brainer!

This wood excelsior is thin which is exactly what I needed for my project. I use it to stuff handmade toys and it has just the right consistency. I like that is is natural wood so I don't have to worry about any artificial color rubbing off on other objects. I give it 4 out of 5 stars because of how it's packaged. The bag breaks very easily and the excelsior can be a bit of a mess unless you put it in another bag or container. I wish it came in a bag that can be resealed and be used to store the product for the duration of my project.

Great price for this multi-purpose natural material! Product arrived on time and was ready to do its work. I'm testing it for stuffing and forming handmade art work, and have ordered more for future projects.

I got this to use for breeding fruit flies for my jumping spiders. I feel like the price was decent and it works perfectly for what I need.
