Tactical Chest Rig, Adjustable&Detachable Molle Chest Rigs with Mag Pouch

Pros: Good quality canvas Lightweight Very easy to adjust, don, and doff. Cons: Does not breathe Bungee straps a tad short Thoughts: I was overall impressed with this rig. For the price, it offers a lot of room and comfort. I am happy to report the H-frame of this rig large enough to accommodate my size, is very comfortable and does not impede movement. The straps rest securely on my collar bone and around my lats, and thanks to the ease of adjustment, I was able to find have had no issues with the rig bouncing around. Both admin and utility pouches are large. My only real quibble at this time is the bungee cord on the outer mag pouches were really short. I used the cinch cords from the admin pouch tied together as a temporary solution. Other than that, I am pleased with the offering.

This thing is just so cool! The fit is adjustable so it’s super comfortable. The Velcro is strong. And this thing functions so well!

Actually, about a 4.5 score. I received this chest rig yesterday. I had really never thought about getting a chest rig but a Youtuber asked a question about a 3:00AM pounding on your door by a LEO yelling about a mandatory evacuation due to a truck overturning and HAZMAT is going to arrive in 10 minutes and we had to be gone in 5 and support our being gone for 12 to 72 hours. I have a go bag but nothing that contained gear (including water, munchies, documentation, etc.) so my wife and I cold grab and go. Soooo, I started looking at what we had if we had to evac the area and drive 20+ miles away, maybe get a hotel have something to eat/drink, some cash, ID, to minimize the disruption. After much planning and reviews ( not just from Amazon), I decided to add a chest rig to go with an old large waist mini evac pack I had. Trying to avoid a large, noticeable backpack and did not want to spend a fortune. I decided on the VISMIX Tactical Chest Rig because it had a good size center pouch and a good sized dangler and it was based on the Helikon Tex Training Chest Rig with some cost reductions. It arrived quickly and I opened it up. First impression, pretty good. Has space for 4 AR/AK mags, (the center 2 pouches are removable), a large removable Velcro patch on the back to attach to a plate carrier, space for 4 pistol mags, an elastic MOLLE strap on each end plus 5 MOLLE straps on each shoulder strap. I like the H harness set up vs an X strap set up. I had to burn off some threads inside and out but that is normal, I think. I was really impressed with the size of each pouch, which was what I needed. I'm getting too old to be involved in a running gun battle so I don't need space for 7-8 magazines. I like that those 2 center mag pouches are removable. The size is good. I am 6' and 230lbs and the adjustable waist belt still had about 6-7 inches of adjustment. Overall, the quality is quite good especially since it is about 1/2 the price of the Helikon Tex version. Well worth the money so far. I am getting on in years and I can carry the chest rig AND cross body carry the mini evac bag easily. I especially like that I can carry a pistol in the right side rifle mag pouch and not have to wear an external holster Plus, I can carry a BaoFeng HT in the same pouch on the left side. Fully loaded, I still have 2 empty pistol mag pouches and I can get 2 carbine pouches in the unused rifle mag pouch. So far, I have nothing bad to say about the rigs capability and capacity. I would have liked to have had a space to better mount a Mora Garberg. Other than that, I can easily c recommend this if you are looking for comfortable rig with a lot of storage space and are no longer a young grunt. I bought this item and have no relationship with VISMIX or Amazon. A hard core snake eater may need a more high speed/low drag rig, but this rig suits me fine. Maybe 500D may be a little light duty, but that remains to be seen.

Really comfortable surprisingly enough, the material is pretty high quality, the adjustment is pretty good even for my small stature, and the zippers are all pretty heavy duty

Good quality construction and looks durable. The stitching is good and zippers easy to manipulate. With a minor modification I added a tactical belt to prevent it from flopping around. It was a good fit and had all the necessary pockets I needed.

Solid piece of budget gear. Its comfortable and multi purpose and solid for budget gear.

It’s alright. For the price it’s not bad but there’s a few things that could be improved on. The biggest thing is that AK mags will fit but the pouches are just barely big enough. It’s to the point where you have to rock them into the pouches or the tab will get hung up on the edge, and the openings of the rifle mag pouches are kind of small, especially the front middle ones. AR mags fit fine. The pistol mags aren’t removable they’re sewn in so that’s kind of annoying but it’s to be expected at this price point. Not that big of a deal. Everything seems decent enough for the price but it’s definitely not an onward research or Haley strategic rig. It’ll do for toting around the bare minimum. Mags, a light, snacks, etc. I wouldn’t try and build it out to hold more than it was meant to tho, like ppl do with the micro chest rigs and minimalist plate carriers. Would be 4 stars if the mag pouches accommodated AK mags better. I guess you could switch out the middle pouches for actual mag retention tho since they can be removed and are kept in place with Velcro. It’s meh.
