Best air pump, worth the price
This air pump runs quieter than any of this type I've ever heard before. It has excellent filtration for incoming air, recommends replacing the diaphragms when they wear out from use, and has the replacement parts readily available. It's got bubbles roiling out of four big air stones and could easily handle more. We've used a series of extremely loud air pumps for our Koi pond for the past decade or so, so loud they've been the first thing we hear when we step out back. They've been pretty much 'disposable', since I've been unable to find replacement parts for them, so they've been tossed out after a couple years. I got a couple of the repair kits and expect to be using this pump for a long time.

Updated
Purchased this unit about 18 months ago, everything was great. Yesterday I hear this loud noise coming from my fish room. I find out it's this unit and it's very warm. Turned it off and contacted the manufacturer. Horrible service, they want video (which you can't send to them) and a bunch of other stuff. Well, here's the video.... Ok, so customer service went out of their way to make it right and sent me the parts needed to fix this. Took a little over a week to receive them and about 15 min to install. Everything is working perfect now.

Works great Aerobic System
Replaced old burned out pump on aerobic system for a commercial client. I cut the plug end off and direct wired it. It has been over 6 months and no issues.

Take your chances
Aquamiracle AP80, super loud. Tried several ways to fix it. Great air flow so far. Bought it as a backup a year ago. Have had it running for 4 weeks. Started off quiet. Seems there is no contact to company. Won’t buy again. Not sure I can get replacement parts either. 😡😢

Less noise then most pumps
We can still hear the pump running, but it is still less noise then most of the pumps we had. It is supplying air to 8 stones and still not maxed out. It will not supply air to the 17 air stones it has places for though. Haven’t had it long don’t know about reliability but so far so good

Replaced a HiBlow HP80 with this
Seems to work about the same as my HiBlow HP80 did. The HP80 was fine but they last about 2 years or so for me before they need a rebuild kit, which is expensive. The rebuild kits are much less expensive for the this one. They recommend rebuilding once a year but I'll see how it lasts over time.
