Very happy with the quality of this light. My second Hygger and it’s really a great light for my 5-gallon blue shrimp tank.

I bought this because I changed my aquarium into a planted one, and boy, is it worth it. The light wasn't very expensive compared to most lights on this platform (it's $25.19 USD at the time), so I decided to buy it. I was surprised on how fast it arrived. When I opened it, there was almost no assembly. Just the lightboard and plug. After looking at the manual a bit, I plugged in and turned on the light. I was then able to change the brightness, color, and time of when the light turned on and off. I think the coolest feature is the 24/7 timer. Regular lighting timers (it also includes the function) just turn a light on and off like a switch. But the 24/7 timer actually simulates sunrise and nighttime by slowly turning on the lights with a slight orange haze, gradually increasing into a warm white. Then in the later hours, it lowers the light into a deep blue, then fades off (8 hours of darkness). The only thing that is a little inconvenient about this product is choosing when the timer goes on and off. By default, a whole day starts at 6:00 AM and ends at 10:30 PM (I think). Now, I have guppies, and they don't really like having light after 9 PM. I did some math, and I figured that if I set the time 2 hours and 30 minutes before, then the light will turn on at around 4-5 AM and turn off at around 9 PM. A bit tedious, but once it is set up, it should be good for a while. If you made it through the whole read, I hope this helped!

Best light I've owned hands down. The full spectrum is a must for healthy life especially in planted tanks like mine. It has all the adjustability and colors that you can ask for but the timer is the kicker for sure! I hate having to manually turn on and off my lights since my Work schedule and lifestyle don't always allow me to do so at the appropriate times. This light takes care of that AND also runs a 24hr cycle that matches a natural daylight cycle. Can't beat it. Everything I could ask for. MOST IMPORTANTLY: IT WILL STRETCH TO 20" which fits a standard 10 gallon tank even if it advertises 18" or whatever so save some money and order the smaller one. My plants look great and my fish do too! Highly recommend this one specifically even though all hygger stuff is great)

It is good quality, it works and you have a decent amount of control (dimmable, timer options, colors, etc). But I am quite disappointed with the Sunrise/Sunset preset, which is its key feature. It is waaaay too long from 6m to 10pm, so you will be asking for massive algae problems. The key problem is offers no customization, it is rigid, which makes no sense. They give you plenty control, 3 timer options but just a single too long sunrise/sunset option. Ideally they would allow a shorter, lets say, 8 hours sunrise/sunset cycle. So it sucks I cannot use its main feature, but still I will give it 4stars because it is quite a good light for the price.

I purchased this light for my very first planted aquarium. I was very impressed with the quality of the light and the timer function is what I love the most. I set it with the 24 hour gradient lighting and never needed to mess with it again. The light cycled from sunrise to moonrise over time and it was really a very pretty way to view the tank. You can also manually change the colors of the lights to your liking (red, blue, green), mix and match the colors to create a "custom" light spectrum, and manually turn the light off and on. The light has adjustable "legs" and fit very well over my rimless tank. The cord is plenty long enough and sturdy. I highly recommend this light for anyone that wants to set it and forget it without needing to buy a separate timer for a natural lighting option.

I have this on a 5 gallon tank. It's plenty bright, but may not provide enough hours of max brightness in 24 hour mode for plants that need a lot of light imo. Also, it resets during power interruptions so you have to have it on a battery backup.

I was a bit worried when purchasing this light that it would default to moonlight setting when the timer switched to 'off', but it doesn't! I've had issues with multiple other lights that don't actually turn off when the timer goes off. I connected this light bar to my NICREW light timer for my 5 gallon beta tank. When the timer comes on around 12pm the sunrise effect starts and ramps up to full light a couple hours later (gradual), then the sunset feature begins a couple hours before the timer goes out. I have no idea how the two electronics interact so seamlessly, especially being different brands, but I highly recommend this light. It's affordable, full spectrum for the plants, and excellent timer compatibility. It makes the water look stunning as well, it's exceptional on my 5G, but beware the 14W for 12-18 inch tank is not strong enough for a 10G. I would size up. It also has all kinds of color adjustments, I haven't tested if it applies during the normal light cycle but you can set it to plain colors like green and purple, etc. It also has dimming features. All right that's enough ranting you get the point.

I use this to light a refugium which is part of a sump filter under the aquarium. It’s actually inside the stand and receives virtually no light. Despite that, this light has the mostly floating (underwater and surface) plants growing well and happily consuming nitrates. The 24 hour timer/cycle makes it a set it and forget it operation.

Took a bit to figure out the timer but good product

When I received lights were good but has a fault that when I want on bright light it doesn’t stay on , I have to bang the plug and it will go on for few seconds but then off again …so obviously a faulty connection somewhere. Amazon won’t give contact details of seller for me to contact or refund , so guess I have to use on dull lights #annoying

Además de que tiene varias tonalidades lo que hace resaltar los colores de los peces y acuario y sus funcionalidades son lo mejor, hay un modo 24/7 que te ahorra la fatiga de estarla prendiendo o apagando manualmente. 100% recomendable.
