I have a farm in Hawaii, the the fertilizer needs of our plants varies greatly, and even in one species, the yearly needs change. Pineapple needs are far different than coffee , and vastly different than lychee. I have gotten into the habit of ordering my N-P-K fertilizers separate, and using a 10-10-10 or 16-16-16 fertilizer as the base. I do the math to mix the different fertilizer contents for the plants. This source for Nitrogen is good quality and greens my plants well. It a good value for the money. Varying the mixes improves plant health, growth, and has effectively improved our yields.

If you need instant nitrogen ,but no potassium and phosphorus, this will do the trick. You are probably buying this because you know how to use it. being water soluble, it's not a long term fix, it's an immediate hit. Nitrogen loving things will go bonkers, and that includes some stuff you might not want. It did the trick for me in an area which was testing extremely low for N, and relatively OK for P/K. It corrected the issue short term, so I could fix it correctly long term. Dissolves well, good granule size and easy to measure. Not dusty.

This product was excellent to fertilizer my corn plants. I lightly placed it around the corn bottoms and cover with soil/compost mixture (hill it up around stems and lightly water. My plants turn green and the now tasseled are starting to show. You don’t need much just a small handful to mix in soil around the base and then top dress with soil mix! Beautiful!

I have spent quite of bit of time researching Urea Fertilizer and a user of different products for lawns. This is just an opinion for lawns and Id recommend consulting your local garden shop or lawn care expert (not your big box store) I chose toe use urea over ammonium sulfate because it has more nitrogen but if youre worried about applying it even you should use ammonium sulfate instead (21-0-0) They do the same thing, one is just more even but you give up the amount of nitrogen to do it. If you make a mistake with urea it will show, Id use the lowest setting on your spreader and go over your lawn more than once if needed. Again, this is a lawn application opinion only. I did a nitrogen blitz at the end of the growing season and put is on 1/2lb of Urea per 1000 sq. feet (46-0-0) Had no issues, no whatsoever and will continue to use it this way. Couldn't be happier with my lawn and only use pre emergent in the spring and this late season nitrogen blitz. I have cut down on my cost and have a perfectly thick lush lawn without weeds. This is how I put the lawn to bed in September in the northern midwestern state.
