I am making transparencies for 1st grade students to use on an old overhead projector as they retell stories we have read in the classroom. To print on transparencies I'm using my inkjet printer, EPSON ET-2550. I go to "Print Settings" and in the Media Type box I select "Premium Photo Paper Glossy." For Print Quality I selected " Quality". I find these settings are a huge factor in the quality of my prints! (Choosing "High or Best Quality" seems to lay down too much ink and takes longer to dry. I'm still experimenting with that though.) TIPS: The transparencies are near impossible to tell the front from the back. There is a very subtle texture difference from the front and back of the transparencies. The cellophane package, the transparencies are wrapped in, has a sticker that says "printed side" indicating which side of transparencies to print on. Take note of that side! I left them in the cellophane package until I am ready to print so I won't mistaken the front from the back. (The side used for printing and holding the ink has an ever so slightly texture feel. The only way I can detect this texture is to run a felt tip sharpie pen across the transparency film - I can feel the difference in the way the felt tip sharpie pen glides across the film. There may be other ways to feel the difference - but this is what I find works for me.) When the film first comes out of the printer the ink is slightly wet. Do not let the freshly printed transparency film stack up on top of each other in the output tray of printer. (Which I did at first and the ink did spear.) As soon as one transparency film is printed I take it out of tray and set it aside to dry. I notice the longer the printed transparency film dryes or "sets" the sharper the image gets. The ones I printed last night feel very dry to the touch and I can now stack them on top of each other to store. I actually left them out to dry overnight. I'm not sure if that was over doing it - but I want to be sure they are dry before I stack them to store. I have rubbed on the printed images I printed last night and they are not spearing and the ink seems to be there to stay. I hope my experience with this product helps you. I will have to update this review once our 1st graders put them through further testing!

Just make sure to get one sheet at a time so as not to confuse the print side and the other side. you can mark also one of the corner to identify the print side. This is the most important thing to remember since the both sides are very similar in texture. Other than that, you should be good in printing

Very easy to use and well worth the money. Great product

One star off because of how finicky any printer is with off-brand specialty paper. Do not expect to be able to stick this in a printer that specifically isn't made for transparencies. Definitely do NOT put this in an HP or an Epson unless you want to void your warantee at worst and get jams at the best.
