DEMMEX 1.2mm Thick Hammered Uncoated Copper Saucepan with Lid & Helper Handle, Food-Safe Tin Lined (1.7-Quart)

In December 2016 I made my first purchase from this vendor, being a 3.4 quart soup pot as a gift for a close friend who is a serious home cook. I was absolutely delighted when I received the beautiful pot. It excelled in every way - superlative appearance and workmanship and enough weight to be real cookware and not just a shiny showpiece. The recipient was as excited to receive the gift as I was to give it. In December 2017 I added a second piece to my friend's collection, a 1.7 quart saucepan from the same product line. It was the same great quality as my first purchase and I expect to add another piece for Christmas 2018. The whole experience was most satisfying with a great product being shipped immediately. I would recommend this vendor and his wares without hesitation.

I had been wanting to upgrade for a while to nice, well made copper pot but most commercial brands are very expensive. I decided to give Demmex a try and I've been very impressed with the quality. It's a beautiful pot but does stain a little once it's used but I don't mind (pots that are used are not going to stay in mint condition! ). I also like the flavors that emerge from the pot, much better than my eco-non-stick pot. I would definitely buy from Demmex again!

I’m a big amateur of cooper pots, an this cooper saucepan is really great, I love the design and the quality is worth the price. It’s a little piece of Art, taking into consideration that it's handmade. Being a Pastry Chef, I love to use this saucepan for melting chocolate which is fantastic, without burning anything, because the heat is transferred evenly through the pan. The pot is great for everything, cooking, preheating or storing your food. This can be a great gift for cooper lovers and not only.

This is a very nice pot. I bought it as a wedding gift and was surprised how quickly it came--from Turkey! It was smaller than I thought, especially for the price, but the quality is very good and copper is expensive so that may be an unfair review . I had not purchased copper cookware before so I'm not sure what it goes for. Other than that, solid and beautiful piece of cookware.

Got this for hubby for Xmas. We have been collecting old copper items for the kitchen but he really wanted a sauce pot. First, it’s beautiful. For a sauce pot it’s larger than I expected. Second, he lives loves it! Lastly, it heats and cleans well I look forward to buying other sizes. Excellent value for the money.

This pot came several days early which was a plesent surprise. It looked beautiful but when I picked it up by the handle it spun in my hand as the handle is more like a round rod and VERY hard to hold. The 'helper' handle was misplaced and is about 10 degrees off center from the regular handle which I could live with but not the rod-like regular handle. I can't believe the pot, when full, could be handled with one hand. I've owned restaurants, bars and a catering business and have been cooking for over 40 years and I'm sending this back the day after it arrvied without ever using it. I am amazed at all the 4 and 5 star ratings so the only thing I can say is I must have gotten a bad one.

Truly beautiful. Great Quality. Buy it now, this pot is worth a lot more. When I use it I feel like a world class chef. Of all my cookware, glass, cast iron, stainless steel, I think this is number one in our kitchen. Been cooking since - forever. And delivery was efficient. Also, whomever packed it did a great job.

As stated by another review, the long handle is terribly narrow. It's very awkward to grip and the pot wants to spin upside-down when holding it empty. I read the reviews and purchased for two main reasons. First, I needed another saucepan with similar dimensions and second, I wanted a copper pot for aesthetic reasons. I've cooked with it five times. The metal is thin, but heats quickly. I haven't experienced noticeable degradation of the metal on the inside or out. I decided to keep the pot because it's not going get heavy use and it's beautiful.

Beautiful, almost too pretty to use! Wonderful to use and Functional

I was looking for a pot to be used in my outdoor kitchen and the main requirement was that it won't rust. I am so happy that this is made of pure copper and has a traditional tin cover on the inside. Copper or tin won't rust. Also, it is very beautiful pot, I just love it. My next purchase will be a kettle from this wonderful company, which is made using the same materials and in the same traditional way. Such great products!

The hand made copper pot is SO pretty, I hate to start using it for cooking. The only complaint is that the solid handle is attached at a rather steep angle. Leveling the handle may mean more packaging space required but to me will well deserve the extra star.
