I bought this same nozzle in 2018, 8 years ago, and it has worked fine until recently. It doesn't want to shut off completely. This is a good nozzle for what I need - washing the car, the driveway, a paint brush, etc. The wife purchased a different nozzle that she uses for watering plants in the yard. This one is not great for gently watering the plants. Save your money and get one of these.

I take my hose situation so seriously. I have a freeze resistant spigot, all steel hose reel that could survive a nuclear explosion, and expensive non kink hose. I only buy these spray nozzles. They are the best value for the money. They work consistently, They are adjustable spray, and DURABLE. They are not invincible and will need to be replaced after a few years. They develop pins holes along the seam of the metal that leak.

I recently replaced one of these that I had been using for years when my partner forgot to pick up the hose before mowing (RIP, nozzle), and I have full faith that thing would have kept working many more years without a whisper of an issue had it not met its end under a riding mower. I don't understand fussing with finicky plastic nozzle heads, especially when they're typically far more expensive than this. Even if they offer a variety of "spray patterns," how many do you actually need? This one does what it needs to--mist, spray, stream, jet. It has a way to keep it in position on full force in case you need it to keep running. It doesn't break or get stuck between patterns, because the pattern is determined by your trigger squeeze. No-fuss, no-fail nozzle head that does exactly what it needs to every time and nothing more. Built to last, as long as you pick it up before mowing.

THE only nozzle to buy! Read these positive reviews they are all right! I too have tried an uncountable number of nozzles that all claimed to be better. You try to convince yourself it’s better, but after using it awhile realize it too is flawed so you go looking for another one. Then that becomes your favorite until the process repeats until you have a shelf full of nozzles. This nozzle jet streams farther than any of my other nozzles that claim to be better. Nothing here to rotate to get patterns you never really use. I always only ever use jet, full and shower. The rest are useless. This one does jet if you squeeze all the way down and a nice soaker shower if you squeeze lightly. What a valuable lesson this is. Newer isn’t better. Touch screen dashes aren’t better than knobs. A digital clock is not better than an analog clock. Self driving in not better than driving yourself. Fake impossible meat is not better than real meat. Artificial sweeteners are not better than sugar. On and on the generation that follows tries to reinvent the wheel and FAILS. This in a word PERFECT. Yes it’s cheaply made. It’s got plastic inside unlike the old all metal ones, but that just means you might have to buy another in a few years. That is to be expected. Made in the land of the CCP of course. Enjoy it as we plan to fight them in the pacific. It’s your world. I just live in it.

I have been using this type of sprayer for years and my old ones are pretty beat up. The problem is that I could not find this type of sprayer at my local stores anymore. It seems everything is plastic with multiple spray settings. Fancy shmancy. This simple design is solid and I can adjust the spray with just the squeeze of my hand. I bought one to see how it was. Works great with no leaks. I have already ordered a second one.

Repurchased this same nozzle same vendor yesyerday, even clicked buy it again. 1st purchase was a year ago (03/2025) date code stamped XC0622. I use it a lot and it just kinda got leaky inside the top pistol part and water would run down my hand and arm. The item has changed and it's not as pictured anymore. It's now made in Taiwan. It weighs 155 grams compared to old at 170 grams. It no longer reads medium duty on the packaging. Old one had 3 year warranty this one reads 2 year. No more raised 3d lettering or even a date code. My old one also had a screened rubber hose washer to keep debris out of the pistol and this new one just has an open washer. So it's been cheapened. It's only $8 and as long as I get a year out of it I'm fine. Old model gets 4 stars haven't used this one yet just got it but giving it 3 for now.

Best nozzle in 50 years. Yes, I’m older, retired have had so many nozzles in Southern CA. Many in the last 20 years ordered on Amazon. Yeah, they work for a bit and fail within a year, so I decided to look for something in the 1960s CA growing up that worked forever and and had an amazing, powerful long range spray. This is it!!! Bought one yesterday, and tried it today..buying three more tomorrow. OH, and at under 8 bucks, wow! Long powerful spray. Simple. I can’t understand how tech is so amazing and so many hose nozzles are CRAP. I LOVE IT. BIG OR SMALL YARD, THIS IS THE ONE.
