Icelandic-English/English-Icelandic Practical Dictionary

I biught it because i write, and i need words for a magic system. With this, greek, and latin. My magic system is about to be lit.My only complaint is that its the smallest of my dictionaries which means there's not alot of selection. But this is an invaluable and irreplaceable addition.

I wasn't sure about this dictionary as I'm very slowly learning Icelandic. This book has helped me so much with quick referencing words. I carry it around to be able to look up key words in Icelandic. Litterally worth every penny. Good job to the author. Well done.

Useful for beginners

An excellent travel/tourist dictionary, more so if you are familiar with US English. As a student I have discovered some fairly glaring omissions in terms of basic, everyday vocabulary, and there are a few errata (nothing terrible, however). I'd certainly recommend picking this up if you're planning on spending any time in Iceland (it's lightweight and pocket-sized, so it travels well). Students may find it lacking, but given its comparatively low price I'd argue that it's still very much worth having.
