High quality, great value
Used this to mount a civilian service commendation medal. Frame is well built, glass is clear, and matte is high quality. Frame comes with a separate, pre-cut insert for the medal. Make sure to adjust for gravity when mounting, but this is easy to do. Much less expensive option than a custom frame order with comparable results. Highly recommended.

Looks nice if you take your time
I have this mounted with one of my medals as a reminder of my 12 years in service. I wanted something to hang on my wall at work that would look professional and not just a frame of the certificate. The certificate easily attaches to the matting (I used a copy of my certificate since I was taping to the matting). For the medal area, it's a real trick to get the medal to mount. I ended up using a medal I purchased and bent the mounting bar to attach to the cardboard backing. It's tough to do, but this is no fault of the frame and would be an issue with any frame, because the medals are designed to go through your service uniform and not thick cardboard. Overall it looks nice and seems like a reasonable price for the quality.

Good frame; Great value
I bought a couple to get a couple of my certificates and medals out of the drawer... Used a little acid free tape to attach the certificate. The medal was a little tricky - I actually took a 1-bar ribbon holderand replaced the clutch-back on the medal, so the 2 pins just pushed through the backboard. Worked great! It's a "good" frame, but it serves its poupose and looks great hanging on the wall. With the medal and cert on it, you don't notice the frame...
