Worked super well!!
I’ve seen a lot of reviews saying it looks like a teddy bears tail was cut off, but obviously this isn’t real moss. Others say it floats and I have to agree it doesn’t just sink right away, however if you hold it under water and move it around you’ll start to see bubbles and it’ll eventually sink. Patience is key! As far as replicating a moss ball it looks very nice and high quality in my Bettas 9 gallon tank and ended up sitting perfectly on the wood piece decor as shown. Lately the tanks water had been cloudy and I tried everything from water clarifiers to bio capsule water cleaners and non of those worked! I put the moss ball in the tank a few days ago and within 4 days, the water cleared up noticeably better to the point it looked like I had just cleaned it and put fresh water in. Also the smell of fish water has almost entirely gone away too unless I’m standing directly over it. The fact these can stay in for months and help keep the water clear makes this highly worth the money for anybody looking for a moss ball either for decor or for keeping the water clear.

Excellent for turtle tanks, axolotls, and newts. Ok to use for fish and shrimp.
This works great in axolotl tanks. My ax would push them around his tank. It takes a minute for them to sink, but overall it was easy to use. They are supposed to help filter the water, which didn't seem to be the case with me, but I kept it clean in other ways. The price was decent as well compared to local pet stores.

Great for turtle habitat
Size is accurate to the product description. These are super soft high quality moss balls. My turtle loves them, and I love that her tank looks so nice! They’re holding up after several months, and are absolutely worth the money. Great product.

Not real moss
These are fairly large, but are not real moss balls. The color is OK I highly recommend rinsing them off before adding them to your fish tank. There’s obviously a difference between these and real moss. See picture for reference. It’s the one on the right is real mass. The one on the left is not.

Aquarium products
My six-year-old grandson wanted beta fish and accessories for it for his recent birthday. I purchased this item thinking that it would be helpful. The fish do seem delight to hide behind it. The price is excellent.

Beautiful touch to my planted Aquarium!
No these aren't real moss balls, but they aren't supposed to be! Real marimo moss balls are roughly $20 for a 2in ball. So for $3 I don't understand why some of the reviews are complaining.. I have several real marimo moss balls in my tank and these are easily over twice the size. They add a beautiful pop of "life" to my planted tank and my fish seem to really enjoy them! I ordered 4, and added 2 to my tank, much like real moss balls they don't sink right away but after added them, going to sleep and waking the next day they were both at the bottom of the tank! While I didn't add them because I needed to help keep my tank clean, it never hurts to add more to keep the water healthy for my community tank. I absolutely love these and will definitely be keeping them in the tank!

Fell Apart Quickly and Didn't Work
The moss ball disintegrated within days and had no effect on water clarity or odor.
