Great way to save a bundle!
Save me a bundle and the kit was fairly easy to use. You will need a bearing puller that fits, however, because the rear bearing used in the Nippon Denso 90 Amp alternators is just about impossible to get out using the kit's recommended method of two screwdrivers! FYI, mark the shaft where it meets the housing so that when you install the bearing behind it you only push it down as far as the housing hits the mark. Otherwise, if you push the bearing all the way down against the rotor, the brushes will likely hit the housing or the housing will not actually rest on the bearing.

A CHEAPSKATE'S DREAM
The rectifier and brushes resurrected my alternator. I now have two bearings I can install when I'm in the mood.
