I buy one of these every season, but with proper maintenance these filters could easily last 2-3 seasons, maybe more. These filters are durable high quality filters that do an excellent job of keeping my pool crystal clear. I trust these filters to keep my family safe from contaminants. They are easy to install and easy to clean. The materials are high quality. I’ve read of other brands coming apart, or breaking down prematurely, but I’ve never had any issues with these. I have used my older filters to do initial cleanings after opening the pool in the spring, and even old ones hold up easily. If you want to make an easy purchase having confidence of buying a high quality low cost filter, look no further. This is the one you need.

So far so good. Great for the price. It fits. Im nit sure about the longevity or durability, but it apoears to be good quality.

I have had this installed since 10/2023 and it finally needs replacing but not dud to old straps or dislodged filter ends. This it just needs cleaning but is ot worth it? I bought a new one and installed it and ran tests. Flow loss on new compared to no cartridge using lab grade flow meter was negligible, in fact some readings were better with new filter. I suspect from smoothing flow from media. The old filter after jet spray clean showed an average flow reduction of 20%! A conversion to additional running cost due to reduced flow was about $72/year on a cleaned filter!! Bottom line, replacing a filter once a year or a little longer costs less running at lower flow.
