Big and sturdy
It's a nice looking bookshelf . I have it next to solid wood furniture and it looks good. Easy to follow instructions. The feet are plastic, but still look good. I have mine full of books. Well made. I am really happy I purchased it

The bookshelf is very sturdy and is exactly what we wanted. It looks very good in our family room. The instructions were easy to follow and the parts went together perfectly. All of the holes lined up perfectly and it did not require any ad-hoc repairs to assemble.

Sturdy
I really like this bookcase. Actually I'm up to 5 of them in my collection. I'm a former university lecturer of engineering and have quite a few textbooks. These are definitely up to the challenge, holding full shelves with little to no deflection in them. However, they have plastic feet (also sufficiently rugged) that they have inexplicably formed from GRAY plastic! Mine are sitting on a light beige carpet so it's not so bad, but buyer be aware of this interesting choice of color.

Lovely
Exceeded my expectations. It’s lovely and was easy to assemble. Does need two people though.

Poorly made product
I had one of the insert screws breakout of the pressed wood piece. I used some strong glue (not what is provided) to secure it. Still not able to put anything heavy on that self (key shelf for the structure. Most frustrating was the cheap backing that has folds in it and looks terrible. I tried smoothing it out by cutting some slats to reinforce the back. This did help to stabilize the overall bookcase but didn't really help with the backing. Maybe worse piece of furniture I have bought.

Awesome Value!
This was inexpensive and end product was great. We have all 4 pieces and I found all 4 to be very easy to put together. The desk, hutch, file cabinet, and bookcase were very easy to construct.
