Was a Toyota Dealer Tech for some years past. OE Filters are the safest bet compared to aftermarket ones. Even compared to the Premium $16-$20.+ ones, like K&N, Mobil One, Wix XP, and Royal Purpleoil filters (the Best rated Premium ones) Denso, a Toyota owned company supplies and Mfr's these to OE Spec. etc. What's not to like? What's to be afraid of. Just make sure to get check the correct Toyota part. No before buying here. AI (Rufus) is far from accurate and may in many cases steer you and confirm a Fit for your vehicle when it is clearly NOT. True for may different brand Vehicle parts I have ordered myself in th past. Don't trust Amazon to say it "is a fit" for your vehicle. You will get burned, as other reviewers here have stated. FWI, I purchased 3 of these "-YZZD1's" and one of them was crushed. Ironically, the Toyota packaging was undamaged. Go figure. Obviously Damaged during production and before packaging at Denso, Thailand. Surprised to see any Toyota part like this. Quality Control failed. I double checked for a genuine part and it was. I see many fake copies here on AMZ. Do your research to easily tell if you are getting a "Genuine Toyota Parts". Caveat Emptor. (buyer beware) Wherever you buy your Toyota parts! The fake stuff can be excellent copies. Fooling even Toyota parts dept . people. Parts like A/C Cabin and Engine air filters, Oil filters, Ignition Coils and especially Toyota Iridium Spark plugs . Its a big business to copy and sell fake Toyota parts like these. I highly recommend this -YZZD1 oil filter as long as it is the proper part number for your Toyota verified by Toyota, Not Amazon (Rufus/AI) What I received was a genuine 90915-YZZD1, with a "legit" Toyota Hologram affixed to the Packaging.
