How much current does the coil draw?

From Mouser website: Coil Resistance: 77 Ohms, Coil Current: 125 mA

My old relay shows: coil24vac, 14fla 84lra 125vac, 8fla 48lra 277vac, and 25a, 277vac res. can i use this to replace mine?

Inrush @ 250 VAC 18 Amps. Continuous @ 277 VAC FLA is Full Load Amps, "Continuous" LRA is Locked Rotor Amps

I only have 4 wires on my ac unit will this relay still work?

Really can't answer that without more details. If your four wires are two for the coil and two for the fan, then yes but... terminals 1&3 are the coil terminals 2&4 are the N.O. terminals 5&6 are the N.C.

With the leads to the coil energized with 24v the relay just buzzes; no switching happens. Does this mean I received a defective relay?

If you connect the 24VDC version in a system that needs a 24VAC relay, the AC will cause the DC coil to buzz and will fail to function. Make sure you get the 24VAC version in a system that uses AC on the coil side.
