Very good, it works

I've tried traditional mass-market dandruff shampoos such as Head and Shoulders with limited success as the dandruff is usually noticeable again within 24hrs or less. Of course I could wash my hair again but I find frequent washing dries my hair out very quickly (especially if it contains chemicals such as sulphates) so this isn't really an option. I spotted this product being recommended on an 'SLS free' cosmetics website and decided to give it a go. I have to say that it worked from the first application and I've noticed that I can easily go three or four days without seeing any flakes whatsoever, an added bonus is that my scalp doesn't itch like it used to either. Its not the cheapest shampoo on Amazon but it is a good sized bottle and the fact that it leaves my hair soft, manageable and flake free for days at a time more than justifies the cost. If run of the mill dandruff shampoos don't work for you, consider trying this product - well recommended.

I’ve been using this shampoo for years and it’s awesome! I’m a sensitive snowflake and have to be careful to not use products that irritate my skin or dry it out with anything harsh. My itching and flakes are completely due to a dry and sensitive scalp, and this is the only “natural” shampoo that works for me. It doesn’t leave my hair greasy and smells great (it reminds me of an essential oil blend from an organic spa). The bottle lasts a while too. If you have thicker hair I’d recommend using one of those rubber scalp massager brush things to get it distributed evenly without having to use too much. I leave it on my scalp while I condition the ends of my hair to really let the shampoo sink in. I'll use a clarifying shampoo after every 4th or 5th wash when it’s hot and I’m sweating a lot, because sometimes this shampoo doesn’t grab all of the oil when it’s built up a bit more.

Please note that this product is for dry scalp, not dandruff. If you have dandruff, you’ll need a different product. I read that this was great for curly hair because of all the oils that help keep hair moisturized. I would agree. For those who say it smells weird, it’s because it’s has a mix of essential oils and not full of harsh perfumes like most shampoos have. It smells like walking into a Saje store, so I didn’t mind the smell. It was actually nice. And it DOES lather. More than I was expecting after reading other reviews so I may have overdone it. So far it works well for keeping scalp moisturized and it’s a great shampoo, although expensive.
