Outstanding Quality !!!!!!
These Trammel Points are some of the best quality I have ever seen for the price, machined from silicon bronze or brass material, the wood handles are perfect and beautifully turned. I was very impressed that these could be offered at about $28.00 USD, I bought these to use in cutting circles on Kangaroo skins to male lace for braiding.

These trammel points are nice, well made and very functional. Fit both wood and plastic yard sticks.

Breaks lead
Storage for the number 2 lead is in the handle and if you tighten it there is a tendency to break them.

A Very Nice Design
A beautiful well made tool set that works well. The design is well thought out with storage in the bodies for additional points and leads. It is an open design so most any piece of wood can be used. The brass work is well done but the finish on the wood components is nothing special. No regrets with this purchase.

A true woodworkers trammel
While other trammel points may do the job, this one tipifies a woodworkers trammel. By that I mean nicely turned wood and brass points. As described, there are both pencil and steel points for each and they attach to various straight edges. I bought this trammel set to make curved dovetails as seen on a video demonstration. It was up to the task.

Great trammel but leads suck
Would have given 5. Leads are pretty much a waste. Be careful closing cap because you will break every lead before you even use it. Leads are not strong as the will break while using set.

These work fantastically. Added in a nice piece of beech for the spanner, and away I go. People have had issues with over tightening and breaking the leads, but if you pay attention, it won't happen.
