It is only a suction cup - not a RADAR detector.
Yeah, OK, so it says that it is a windscreen mount, not the radar detector itself, but in my defence, I saw the picture and read it as a window-mounted radar detector. I now own a mount, but no radar detector. Can I buy a radar detector to go with this lovely new mount? No. Arkan do not make actual radar detectors. Nor any indications of which would fit this bracket, if I were to find one. It all seems a bit pointless, really.

Fits Vector 940 Great and Holds Detector Level. Would Buy Again!
Overall, I am really enjoying this product. I have only had it for approximately 2 weeks, but I love this mount a lot better than the one that the detector comes with by factory. I had to tighten the screw on the side because it was loose and allowed for the radar detector to bounce or go to a different angle while I was driving, but after that, it has been great! The part that actually slides into the detector and the angle adjustment are great and hold the entire weight of the detector. My old factory mount wasn't sturdy enough to hold my detector straight just due to sheer weight. Suction cup works great! I pressed mine on their really hard and prepped it using the alcohol prep pad it came with. Works great. Hinge to suction is a little cheap, but it does what it needs to do and hasn't failed on me yet. Overall, great product and I would definitely buy it again. Seller had fast shipping and good packaging. No damages.

Great option to replace the worn out mount that comes with your radar detector
This is a great option for escort radar detectors! I’ve had mine for a year or so know and it works great. The only issue I’ve had is that sometimes when it gets really cold it will fall out of the window, but it’s only happened a couple of times. And I drive down some really rough roads. So I would still highly recommend. It holds way better than the mount that came with my escort. And if you want to pull it out of the window you just flip the lever and it comes right out quick and easy!
