My son has a medical condition that keeps his body from self regulating. (HED) Because of this condition he can overheat and even have a heatstroke. I am always looking for products that will suport his needs. This HYPERKEWL Evaporative Ultra Sport Vest is perfect. When dipped in water for a very short period of time, water wicks into the vest. Ring the excess moisture out and put it on, the vest will slowly evaporate and cool your body while you have it on. For extremly hot days I would redip every 1-2 hours. I have purchased the regular ‘vest’ from HyperKewl and a few other companies over the last five years. We were very satisfied with those items, but The HyperKewls has always made the best products. Now with the newer ‘Sporty’ Ultra Sport Vest, my son is pleased that he can use it like a tank top while playing sports or under his jersey it fits slim on this body and you can not tell that he has it on. Last weekend his soccer team was at Virginia Beach for a tournament: 4 games at +90 degrees and high humidity. It was not plesent for anyone. I had a bucket of cold water and threw 6 extra vest in the bucket. As I walked away I casually informed the kids that the cooling vest were in the bucket and they could use them it they wanted. (What 10 year old boy wants to look different in front of others?) Before I got to my seat they were all snatched up and put under their jerseys. Kids may not want to be different, but they are not fools lol. After the tournament the kids that used them requested them form their parents next season. I have forwarded this link to them. I also use them when I cut my grass or do outside work. I can handle the heat and have more stamina with the vest on. We are very pleased customers.
