What type of steel is used on the handle?

I don't think there is a metal in it. They say it's fiberglass. But it's extremely strong. That said I use it for at home log splitting once in awhile. For me it'll last a long time I expect. If you use it everyday for work, I'm not sure how it'll work. But I think it'll do just fine. Hope that helps.
