Good value for the price!
We purchased PetArmor for Our furbaby, who was not responding well anymore to the Frontline (which works excellent but he's sensitive now). He got an infestation within a week after missing the Frontline while We struggled to find him another good product. We live South so the fleas and ticks are TERRIBLY invasive during this time of year. We came across this product and decided to try it and see if he behaves better with it. He's reacting better, not licking and scratching himself so much at all like with Frontline, it works pretty well for the cost, and some things make it work better:Washing your kitty first and removing as many living fleas and as much gooky flea matter as you can. Then wait until kitty is fully dry and apply the Pet Armor. It DEFINITELY works way better if you bathe kitty first, even if during drying kitty picks up a few more fleas. The first time We used it We did not bathe them first and while it killed about 80% of the pests, they still lingered and eventually came back. The next time We used it, We bathed Our babies first and then applied it... They have NOT had anymore fleas or ticks, and We're POSITIVE they're still outside haha.Using in conjunction with vacuuming and household treatment. We notice when We keep the carpets and Our babies sleeping areas EXTRA EXTRA clean, wayyyyy fewer fleas linger and the meds last longer. We admit the Frontline kills flea and tick infestations etc VERY quickly, even in carpets and bedding with just a simple application to Our furbabies, but for the price and strength, it's no real loss to vacuum etc to help the Pet Armor along.Keep kitty contained for 1-3 days after application. Not just with Pet Armor, but Frontline too... Within 24 hours after application, some dying ticks and fleas still have strength for a few days and tend to run and jump off of Our furbabies, increasing danger of biting Us too, so keeping kitty contained helps to keep the house from crawling with dying critters while kitty is lounging on everything. Also fleas and ticks don't die as quickly (they die, just not as quickly) with PetArmor as with Frontline or Advantage, so monitoring their activity is easier when kitty has to stay in place.Pet Armor does leave a white residue, wipe it away after a few days. The days before We applied PetArmor, We had about 50 fleas We handpicked from various places within Our home. It was harsh!!! Within a week after, We've seen exactly two fleas, and that was after Our babies went outside for about an hour. We removed them and haven't seen any since. We also found a dying tick on one of them, no longer attached to the skin. No more scratching at all. We're still thinking of using Advantage, which Our babies Love, but it doesn't kill ticks so We're considering using it when the fleas are just TERRIBLE but We don't see ticks, and the PetArmor once the fleas are well eliminated and to prevent ticks (like maintenance). The reasons are because We still are concerned about if PetArmor will cause any long term reactions to Our sensitive baby due to the strength of the tick killing formula, and Advantage, like Frontline, kills fleas REALLY quickly, and all around the home, which is easier when We don't have the energy to vacuum 3x per day.Overall We definitely recommend Pet Armor if your kitty is sensitive or unable to take Frontline or if cost savings is important. It lasts much longer with good hygiene and household habits, and is DEFINITELY DEFINITELY better than nothing and worth the cost!

My cat is dead!!
I don't care if people think I am not applying it correctly, or if I am leaving an unfair review. I know how to apply this product, and I know to keep the cats away from each other while the product dries./ I applied this in between my cat's shoulder blades, and for a few days, he was okay. As each day went on, he became more and more lethargic, until today, when I called him to eat, and he didn't respond. I looked for him for a good ten minutes before I found him almost unresponsive behind a door. When I went to pick him up he was limp and had messed on himself. I held him and bathed him with a cloth and warm water, and if he were his true self, he would have gone bizerk if I tried that. His breathing is very shallow. My daughter made him a resting place in her room, in a doll crib. She has him covered in a blanket with a stuffed animal next to him. He is barely alive. We are taking turns talking to him and reassuring him, but I know he won't last much longer. To make matters worse, HE STILL HAS FLEAS! As you can imagine, our family is highly upset. We aren't ready to lose our sweet boy. I have used many products for several years, I know how to use flea drops. This has never happened in my 17 years of owning cats. Please, use with caution.
