Which provides better protection: uag plyo or otterbox symmetry?

I would go with otterbox. I’ve had this case for a couple years and have dropped it numerous times with no problems. My phone is completely glass.

What is the grip like on the sides? Case I just got is slippery (different brand) I need something with an easy grip.

At least for me, the grip is good and not slippery.

Does anyone with an 8 have an issue with others hearing you using this case?

No issues here. I also had a symmetry case for my 7 and no issues. There isn’t a film over any of the speakers like some other cases that have that type of issue.
